Multiplexing is a technique used to transmit multiple signals over a single transmission medium. The most common types of multiplexing are time-division multiplexing (TDM) and frequency-division multiplexing (FDM).<br><br>In TDM, each signal is divided into small time slices, and these slices are interleaved and transmitted sequentially over the transmission medium.
