Please explain your answer. Yes, the activity allowed me to experience both taking part in the running of these events but also filming the live events. Please note three key learning points you brought away from the session. I learnt what its like running a gig, what the live filming experience feels like and how to solve problems on the fly such as battery issues. How will you apply the information/skills gained from the placement / experience in the future? I will apply the skills I learnt from this placement by being able to take on jobs where I film live events. Please comment upon the individual input of the student and how well they engaged with the work placement / experience: Jacob showed great enthusiasm for every part of the project. He is vocal with his ideas and yet always willing to listen too. His opinions often helped improve the project and Jacob is particularly good at initiating discussion when ideas needed to be talked over as a group, which is a very valued quality. Jacob may not always realise the leadership skills he has and how important they could be in making any project a success. He showed this at the design and execution stages of the project and it was clear from the things he said he always had good insights into what was working and what wasn’t working. These qualities are often also needed after the work has been done to ensure it gets showcased effectively and I think Jacob could offer a lot at this stage too.. Would you recommend this student for further work placements / experience within the same profession? Please justify your response. I think Jacob would offer a lot to any workplace. His personality is engaging and he has lots of creative ideas. He would be an enjoyable and effective colleague to have. He presents his ideas clearly and makes them worth listening to without being overbearing in his presentation. That makes for a good team worker too.
