Creating the Poster
Creating the Poster
Creating the poster – Group work of 2-5 students
Let’s creatively express a message to raise
awareness about the risks of pedestrians on
their way to school.
THE POSTER MUST BE: Creating the Poster
• Visible and legible (even from MATERIALS
afar!) • Blank sheets of paper
• 1 blank A3 poster per
• Attractive and adapted to the group
message you want to convey; • Pens, colored pencils,
brushes, paints, etc.
• Understandable at first glance • Old illustrated magazines
(if available).
• Scissors and glue
Creating the Poster
THE SLOGAN (BETWEEN 10 AND 50 WORDS):
• The slogan should emerge naturally from the work done in Session 1.
• The text is not a secondary element of the poster. It should catch the
reader’s attention and be easy to memorize: play with the colors of the
letters, the sizes, etc.
• Brief and concise, it expresses in a few words the idea to be
communicated. Humor and rhyme are good tactics to get the reader’s
attention.
Creating the Poster
Examples of slogans:
“Everyone is a pedestrian”;
“Think, be nice, look twice”;
“My friend saw the text. He didn’t see the truck”;
“Stop, look, listen”; “Stay alert, stay alive”.
