CiGen Services
UiPath Solution Sales CiGen is an authorised global reseller of all UiPath products. We can assist you with all your Studio, Orchestrator, Front Office and Back Office
Proof of Concept Robot requirements.
Pilot
With the installation of a UiPath Studio on your premises, CiGen can assist you to determine the viability of Intelligent Automation in your real
Design and world environment. We automate various elements of your chosen processes to ensure your applications and environment are accessible and
Implementation readable. It’s a good quick and inexpensive way for you to see first hand how automation might operate in your business.
Management CiGen can drive the initial automation during the Pilot stage and/or we assist your CoE team in developing your early steps in RPA.
Training
Support CiGen’s Design and Implementation services are focused on a long term and ongoing capability to ensure Intelligent Automation is and remains a
Robots for Hire labour augmentation program that benefits the organisation well past the initial stages of implementation. We can help you to;
Identify the work flows and processes that are suited to Intelligent Automation.
Develop an enterprise wide approach to obtain the greatest benefits from Intelligent Automation.
Determine Automation software and number of Robot licences required to achieve the benefits for the Intelligent Automation
approach above.
Define a training and implementation plan with the control and support structure in place to effectively run the Intelligent
Automation program efficiently.
Use the above factors to build a benefits and business case for Intelligent Automation adoption.
Manage the program and associated projects using standardised project management practices to ensure that your
expectations are met on time and within budget.
CiGen can provide full management of your automation development and RPA platform.
CiGen can provide clients with detailed training covering Advanced content required to automated your processes.
CiGen provides Tier 2 product break/fix support (included when UiPath software products ordered.
CiGen can also provide specialised support services covering areas such as: mentor support, CoE regular monthly reviews/Q&A, automation audit
services and full management RPA management support, etc.
CiGen has a fleet of Backoffice Robots that can be utilised for small & medium companies, one-off data projects.

Robotic Process Automation
Why are you • Cost reduction?
Implementing RPA • Improved accuracy?
• Improved customer satisfaction?
• Robot scaling capability and Agility?
• Better utilisation of existing staff to improve or expand your products and
services?
Critical success factors Have you determined your critical success factors and shared them with relevant
stakeholders and/or staff?
How does RPA help • Improves your customer experience and satisfaction.
transform an organisation • Improves your workforce’s value – they move from repetitive jobs to higher
value leading to potential improvement work satisfaction.
• Improves Risk, Compliance and Audit management through reduction of
errors and improved consistency/accuracy of reporting.
• Fully documented end-to-end RPA processes.
• Analytics – gain control and visibility over the RPA processes.
• Greater application integration and upgrade control.

Ci Gen Pty Ltd (CiGen) Getting Started
What is your beginning strategy for RPA?
Identify the right Processes for Automation
Create an RPA Process Automation Roadmap
Robustness of current processes (as is) – are they documented and if so, how?
You need a measure – do you have current process times/costs to enable you to compare to
robot automation?
Don’t keep your broader staff in the cold (word always gets around)
Expectation management – you build over time (quickly), but not in one day
RPA Centre of Excellence (CoE), RPA Managed, or a combination of both?
Robots are not the whole solution. You will still need people to solve the cognitive parts of
processes
Simplify processes for robotics (doesn’t need to designed for a person)
Robots are not set and forget. Things change (processes, documents, application updates,
etc.)
Do you need to automate every process iteration? Be aware of over refining workflows (what
is the cost benefit of including every process scenario)
9
RPA Centre of Excellence (CoE)
RPA Centre of Excellence (CoE), CiGen Managed, or a combination of both?
What type of skills are required to form and run a CoE RPA team?
Let every department do their own RPA?
If I can do one robot, I can do 1,000 (a common error at early stages of the RPA journey)
Identify process experts. Your experts may become part of the Centre of Excellence (CoE),
or provide guidance to the CoE.
Backup skills for CoE team?
Have a plan in place in case key process team members leave before the RPA rollout is
complete?
Build up to complex processes over time (let the team learn and grow as it’s faster than
throwing them in the deep end)
Training plan - entry level and advanced
RPA analytics, measurement and reporting – what do you need?
Testing end to end (Test Environment/Production)

Key Departments - HR
Common Mistake – the People Strategy comes later
The role of HR and are they across the plans?
• HR needs to be across your broader RPA plans
• Discuss with staff early to prevent rumour and non-cooperation
• Who do you need and where?
• Determine people change and/or skill upgrade strategy – Are you retraining and
moving people to other roles or expanded roles?
• Are you moving people from the back office to the front office to assist customer service
and sales?
• Determine your retention strategy for RPA talent pool
• What roles may become redundant?
Ci Gen Pty Ltd (CiGen) 11
Ci Gen Pty Ltd (CiGen) Key Departments - IT
You can’t do the full RPA server solution without IT
When do you require IT?
Sufficient IT support for RPA platforms
Role and inclusion of IT
Maintenance & support for all related ICT technologies
Robots are users too – they will need access to Office apps, PDF, Email, business applications
etc. to automate processes
Application and RPA change management (changes/upgrades can/will affect RPA workflows
and operation)
Screen resolution standardisation (Studio PC’s and robot servers)
Non Production RPA Environments (Training, Testing)
DR RPA Strategies:
• Power failure, carriage, communications, network failure
• Applications failure, Security failure or intrusion, etc.
