Greetings Friends, Supporters, and Gentleman Institute Mentors,

The Dynamic Ladies of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. St Petersburg Alumnae Chapter salute your presence
for the Beautillion Militaire Ball Alpha Class. We are a Sisterhood charged with the standards set by twenty-
two visionary women of fortitude, perseverance, and faith. We are committed to positively impacting our
community.

Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. major programs focus on our Five Programmatic Thrust:
¨ Economic Development
¨ Educational Development
¨ International Awareness and Improvement
¨ Physical and Mental Health
¨ Political Awareness and Involvement

Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. was founded in 1913 at Howard University. As a Public Service Organization
we are called to serve, lead, and empower. Delta women are committed to making a difference in our
community through public service.

Today, we thank you for the countless hours and overwhelming commitment to enrich the lives of the
young men of this, our Alpha Class. Your overwhelming support is shown by your attendance here today.
We
celebrate the rite of passage for these young men as they move from this stage of their lives to the next.

Thank you to our supporters and friends for the opportunity to help build relationships and develop inde-
pendence for these young men. It is our desire to develop new purpose, new skills, and new leaders for our

Greetings and Welcome to Tampabay’s first Beautillion Militaire!

Thank you for joining us in celebrating the inaugural class of the Beautillion Militaire
of the St. Petersburg Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. in partner-
ship with the St. Petersburg Alumnae Chapter Educational Services, Inc. (S.P.A.C.E.S.).

We have had six months of eventful leadership and development training worth re-
membering and celebrating our first Gentleman’s Institute participants: “The Alpha
Class”. Throughout the program we collaborated with many community and civic
leaders and professionals to provide top notch training for the Beaux.

The culmination of our collaborations will be evidenced by the presentation tonight.
Let’s appreciate and celebrate one another by recognizing that the best is yet to
come with respect to each Beau’s destiny to make a difference.
