Introduction My name is Jalilah Binti Lokman Hakim and I’m a first-year student at USIM. Currently, I enrolled in the AEN3183 ELECTRONIC DA’WAH AND CAMPAIGN course. Dr Kartini Kamaruzzaman was the lecturer who teaches students about this course. The courses serve as a venue for teaching theory and concepts and for honing students’ abilities to use new media tools and campaign techniques that may be used in the real world. In this course, the instructors intend to implement the Service-Learning Malaysia-University for Society (SULAM) program which is to be applied in the AEN3183 ELECTRONIC DA’WAH AND CAMPAIGN course where it is seen as a potential element of High Impact Learning (HIEPs; High Impact Educational Practices). To achieve that goal student, need to be given exposure to implement the knowledge gained in lectures to the real world. In this regard, through the SULAM initiative program student can develop knowledge by engaging with target group (secondary school student). In identifying and resolving problem or issue that is related to electronic da’wah and content to be campaigned in applying knowledge and skill learn from this course. This SULAM intended to improve student student learning via the integration of Naqli and Aqli knowledge as well as the linkage of theory and practice in the area of filling out da’wah campaign and programmes online for use in the real world. I and eight members of my group were instructed to make a video campaign together with five high school students from Smaplabu and also Shams.
Critical Reflection Before’ I and 8 members of my group were given a task by our lecturer to solve the issues that happened among the students, where there were 8 issues given and we were required to choose one of them. Before we choose the title first, we discuss about the position of the committee where I am the secretary in this program. Below is our organization chart; After making the selection of the committee and the scope of work, on June 5, 2023 we had a discussion to make the selection of the campaign title but online only, where initially the chosen title was 'weak mastery of the Qur'an'. But on June 12, 2023 we changed our title to 'brutal towards teachers' discussed face to face in the library.
Before we completed our task, Dr. Kartini Kamaruzzaman revealed how to make a campaign video that is not just a video but is able to give awareness or sentiment towards an individual, especially to students. Where we are encouraged to make videos that do not hurt the feelings of any party and more content that is in the form of a sincere message. We were given some examples of video material that can be used as a reference so that we can produce a perfect video and be able to attract the attention of the public. After that, on June 12 2023 we have already recorded our video titled 'being rude to teachers'. where the video recording was done in the library. However, before making the recording, we gathered from 2 pm to discuss the script and what was related to it. After that, we made the selection of characters that fit the personality and also the division of the screen. After everything is done, we decide who will be the voiceover in the video.
Prior to the date of the event SULAM program will be implemented which is on June 14, 2023 which is located at Sk Taman Tasik Jaya, Seremban, on June 7, 2023 dr kartini kamaruzzaman as the lecturer responsible for making this program successful has held a mega meeting of the SULAM program, where it involving all students involved in the embroidery program conducted in the meeting room of the faculty of leadership and management. We were told to take care of our manners while at the scene of the incident, what to wear, and what should be done on the day of the incident.
Critical Reflection During’ On June 14, 2023, the SULAM program has been successfully implemented, where before the opening of the program we can see a stage performance from STAJA students who are very lively and full of energy. In addition, we also heard the words of encouragement and praise delivered by Mr Seremban politician where at the end of his speech he said 'I love you' to everyone in the hall. Before the inauguration of the SULAM program, we were shown a gimmick performed by USIM students from the science and technology faculty, where there was a man wearing a mask who was a wanted suspect. After being accompanied by the entry of two people who seemed to be looking for the man with a drone to help with the search and in the end the man was arrested then there was a demonstration of chemicals as a sign of the inauguration which was inaugurated by the head of the leadership and management faculty council. After the inauguration and speech, we were instructed to move to the school's resource center for the next session. All students and participants involved were instructed to move to the school's resource center to listen to Mr. Lim Jooi's sharing. Where the sharing done by him is TikTok as a dakwah delivery platform. He shared many things, including the obligation to preach to non-Muslims and Muslims themselves, where he said that if we do not have love for others and religion, then we do not have the spirit to preach about our religion to others. He also stated that TikTok is a great platform, where if he preaches through TikTok he can get millions of viewers compared to face to face. This means that the chance for non-Muslims to know Islam is higher because of the global nature of TikTok.
after finishing the presentation from Mr. Lim Jooi Soon, Dr. Kartini Kamaruzzaman and also Dr. Sima as lecturers of this subject took over the program session where they presented a little about the needs of new media in making a da'wah campaign for about half an hour to an hour. After finishing the session, we were divided between five students from SMAPLABU and also, SHAMS to each group. After that we were instructed to eat while preparing a task video that needs to be completed together with SMAPLABU students and also SHAMS where the period given is from 1pm until 2.45pm. Before showing the video, our group of 7 did an introduction session first in order to build a good relationship. After the introduction session is over, we showing the video, we had previously played to the five students to fulfill our work rubric. After that, we asked them what they got based on the video they just watched.
after that we asked the five students to make a slogan about the teacher which will be included at the end of the video. After everything was finished, we were instructed at 3pm to gather again at the library for the closing event and presentation of prizes for the best campaign video. We didn't expect that we would get the first place as the best campaign video and at that time we all felt moved, happy and hoped that the campaign video could bring awareness to everyone, especially students.
Critical Reflection After’ After the SULAM program ended, my group members and I took pictures as memories and also together with the five students from SMAPLABU and SHAMS. After that we clean up things that I got, among which is to use social media wisely, that is, to use it for good. Next, our campaign video is uploaded into the TikTok application to start our campaign session. Where after the video is uploaded, we all have to spread it to the public by spreading the TikTok link of the video. We had to campaign for several days to spread the video. After that we are required to create bts which is behind the scene, then we also need to complete Trello according to the guide that has been given.

Conclusion Thus, through this SULAM program I gained a lot of good things, one of which is the ability to solve local problems. Where it requires knowledge then applied in life. In addition, I can also learn the importance of new media where these things are important for us to know, even I also know how to master social media well. I also gained important knowledge from Mr. Lim Jooi Soon about the importance of da'wah, many important things that he instilled, one of which is to love the people around you, love for jihad, he also said that we should use something well, for example TikTok this is because we don't know what the future of the TikTok application will be like, therefore at the moment TikTok is an application that is loved by the public so we have to act wisely. Furthermore, this matter can also strengthen the relationship of brotherhood among Muslims because it involves the public. In addition, there needs to be commitment from all parties to make the program a success so that it can run smoothly. Not only that, it can also foster this sense of responsibility because each member of the group needs to work together to complete this task perfectly. Apart from that, I can also add knowledge about the importance of maintaining good manners towards this teacher because the teacher is a source of blessing of knowledge, a imparter of knowledge who is likened to a candle that burns itself to illuminate others. Therefore, it is important to be polite to teachers who have imparted knowledge to us.
