STRUCTURING FOR A RENEWABLE ENERGY BUSINESS

One of a well-established company
in renewable energy sector wanted to
get into the floating solar power plant
business. The assignment was to provide
a flexible business structure to operate
across south east Asia under various
model for business operations. The
assignment was challenging since
analysis of several jurisdictions was
required as the source IP was located in a
different country, foreign investors were
involved and they were having areas of
operations across south east Asia having
SPV’s in different countries. With a precise
understanding of client requirements and
multiple iterations, consulting and tax
team was able to arrive at the most tax
and operationally efficient business
structure.
Singapore is one of two Asian countries in the top twenty

KNOWLEDGE TID- of IPR along with Hong Kong. In 2011, Singapore achieved
BIT its highest-ever IPR score. This increase is largely based on
the “Copyright Piracy” component, which continues to

grow dramatically.

Thanks to all the women for making the home the lovliest and heaven
place on earth Women are made to be loved, not understood woman can
change the world, If women didn’t exist, all the money in the world would
have no meaning,

Irrespective of the looks of her kid she takes care of her child. She get up
early in the morning prepares food, do all the household works, then get
ready and go to work which is 90kms far from my place. When she is back
she will ensure everything is in line and will spend time with her children
this is how I learned time management. Her patience inspires me a lot
because even after working for so many long hours she never looses her
patience.

”PASSION”-“ROSHOMON”

Last year Make team had chosen fitness as an
initiative and accomplished it successfully by
organizing fitness events throughout the
year and thereby sowing the thought in each and
everyone’s mind. Year passed and Make had to
come with a fresh and innovative theme for the
next year.
When the iterations were going on, each

one of the make team member agreed to

the point that if there is work life balance

people tend to gain the zeal and

enthusiasm and the energy is channelized
in a better way towards work as well.
Considering this thought, MAKE team
chose the theme of the year as PASSION so
that each one of us can get reminded of
the passion in us and pursues it further.
MAKE team launched it in a grand way by
introducing the PASSION keeda
ROSHOMON which enforced the
awakening of ROSHOMON in each one of
us!

the reporting manager and the employee.

output/deliverable provided
• Timely response to mails as per MCA policy.
• Knowledge sharing by conducting weekly seminars/trainings
• Rejuvenation & celebration to be organised after end of busy

seasons when employees work under pressure.
• Managing work in a way where considerable time in spent in

execution rather on meetings

Know Your MCAces

Nisha was born on 23 July 1991 in
Chennai and was brought up in Delhi. She
finished her schooling in DAV Public
School at Delhi , came back to Chennai to
pursue her B.com honors at Ethiraj
College. Post qualification she was placed
in Deloitte in Hyderabad for the profile of
external audit. She is associated with
MCA since January 4th 2016.
She loves travelling to places and try new restaurants. She is a
person with a determined character. At MCA, she has been a
driving force in the enhancement of enthusiasm in working
environment. She is an extrovert and a fun-loving person. She
has her passion in singing and she started to learn music from
the age of 7. Her love towards pets is eternal. As a part of this
organization she has not only worked hard to earn her piece of
bread but also emphasizing herself as a responsible woman in
making the organization unique.
