Our club held its first Summertime carwash and bake sale on the
30th of September. There were several cakes, cookies and drinks
sold. We also washed a total of 40 cars. At one point it got very
hectic, but we managed to complete all the tasks. We also had a
donation box which generated a generous amount of income.
There were no complaints pertaining the carwash and the bake
sale and based on the satisfaction of the customers we must say
that we did an outstanding job.
Welcome to For our first project of fiscal year 2018 – 2019 the Rotaract Club
the Family of Paramaribo collaborated with the Leo Club Campus Plus
conducting a motivational session for the Primary school OS
Balona on Friday, July 13th . This session was especially meant
for the sixth graders who were preparing for their final exam.
The intention was to give a session to increase their internal
motivation. The two Presidents kicked off by sharing information
about their organization followed by members of the two clubs
who did some exercises and games with the pupils. They also did
a training session on how the students can build self-confidence
and self-believe to prevent negative thinking. The percentage of
the graduates before the resit is 82%. Congrats!

On the 29th of July, 2018 the Rotaract Club of Paramaribo helped along in a Bingo Drive organized by new
friends of Stichting Openlucht Museum Fort Nieuw Amsterdam (SOFNA). This was held to prevent closure of this

served in different areas, such as selling
the tickets that gave the participants
the permission to get their food and
drinks that were also handed out by
members of the club. There were great
prices included for the winners and
everybody had a great time.
