Valerie Chan

Hi! My name is Valerie. I joined Eliassen Group in September 2020 with the Santa Cruz team (as I’m writing this, I’m
on my third week). I graduated from UCSC with a major in Political Theory and eventually found my way into Sales.

I was working in Tech Sales when I switched over to Sales in Staffing, and absolutely fell in love with it!



I’ve been in Staffing for the last two years and have enjoyed it so much! Though I started in Sales, I am now on the
Recruiting side. I love hearing how passionate people are about the work they do and I get to be a part of that-

whether it’s helping them find a dream job or helping them get out of a position where they are not happy. I enjoy
talking to new people everyday and I’m constantly learning new things. I have become passionate about the work I

do and really hope that I am making an impact! I am looking forward to my time with Eliassen Group. Everyone
here has been so awesome and welcoming.



In my spare time, I do like to be outdoors, work out, and hang out with my sister’s dog (ask me about her, I’m
obsessed). But, my favorite hobbies are less socially acceptable like watching reality tv, celebrity gossip, painting

my nails, and napping.
