BADMINTON

INTRODUCTION

Badminton is a racquet sport played using racquets to hit a shuttlecock across a net.
Although it may be played with larger teams, the most common forms of the game are
"singles" (with one player per side) and "doubles" (with two players per side). Badminton
is often played as a casual outdoor activity in a yard or on a beach; formal games are played on a
rectangular indoor court. Points are scored by striking the shuttlecock with the racquet and landing
it within the opposing side's half of the court.

Each side may only strike the shuttlecock once before it passes over the net. Play ends once the
shuttlecock has struck the floor or if a fault has been called by the umpire, service judge, or (in
their absence) the opposing side.[1]

The shuttlecock is a feathered or (in informal matches) plastic projectile which flies differently from
the balls used in many other sports. In particular, the feathers create much higher drag, causing
the shuttlecock to decelerate more rapidly. Shuttlecocks also have a high top speed compared to
the balls in other racquet sports. The flight of the shuttlecock gives the sport its distinctive nature.

The game developed in British India from the earlier game of battledore and shuttlecock. European
play came to be dominated by Denmark but the game has become very popular in Asia, with recent
competitions dominated by China. Since 1992, badminton has been a Summer Olympic
sport with four events: men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, and women's
doubles,[2] with mixed doubles added four years later. At high levels of play, the sport demands
excellent fitness: players require aerobic stamina, agility, strength, speed, and precision. It is also

again revised the rules.[6] The Badminton Association of England (BAE) published these

"Dunbar"[c] in Portsmouth on 13 September.[12] The BAE started the first badminton

and an England–Ireland championship match appeared in 1904.[5]

dilahirkan 22 November 2003 di hospital Kuala Nerang, Kedah. Saya mempunyai seorang
adik dan merupakan anak sulung dalam keluarga saya. Saya mempunyai sebuah keluarga
yang bahagia walaupun banyak kali berpindah randah saya dapat banyak berjumpa orang
lain dan mencipta memori. Kedua orang tua saya merupakan individu yang paling saya
sayangi dan hormati dalam hidup saya. Makanan kegemaran saya adalah makanan yang
manis dan pedas seperti Tomyam, aiskrim dan burger. Hari yang paling saya gemari adalah
hari yang hujan pada waktu malam apabila saya ingin tidur akan kedengaran bunyi hujan

juadah yang sedap. Masakan ibu saya sangat sedap dan digemari oleh semua orang. Latar
belakang ibu saya bukanlah dari orang yang senang , dia telah bertungkus lumus berkerja
keras demi menyara dan membantu keluarga kami. Dia suka berbelanja di mall. Dia suka

masakkan makanan untuk kmi sekeluarga biarpun dia harus pergi ke tempat kerja pada
pukul 8 setiap pagi. Saya sangat menghormatinya kerana banyak sebab yang lain. Akhir

empat puluh tahun. Ayah saya dilahirkan 9/8/1981. Dia dilahirkan di Perlis. Dia merupakan
anak yang ketiga dalam keluarga yang besar. Ayah saya mempunyai abang, kakak, adik lelaki
dan juga adik perempuan. Ayah saya belajar di Politeknik Ungku Omar, Ipoh. Ayah saya
berkerja sebagai penolong juruelektrik di Politeknik Syed Sirajuddin. Ayah saya seorang yang
tegas tetapi mempunyai hati yang baik. Dia selalu menasihati saya supaya belajar
bersungguh-sungguh. Ayah saya mempunyai peribadi yang tegas dan gagah. Dalam keluarga
saya dia merupakan yang paling tinggi manakala saya mendapat genetik belah ibu saya iaitu

hanya berketinggian 151 cm. Berbanding ibu saya yang mempunyai tubuh fizikal

pertandingan Taekwondo dan telah memenangi banyak pertandingan. Dia seorang yang
sangat atelit. Saya berbeza dari saya yang kurang bersukan. Dia tidak mempunyai makanan
kegemaran yang khusus kerana dia bukanlah seorang yang memilih. Akhir sekali, ayah saya
amat menyukai movie barat seperti cerita Marvel. Sebelum pandemik Covid-19 ini berlaku
kami sekeluarga sering keluar berjalan-jalan di mall dan menonton wayang.

Adik saya bernama ADAM HAQIM BIN NORULHAIZAM. Berumur sebelas tahun dan
dilahirkan di Hospital Kuala Nerang, Kedah pada 10/10/2010. Dia belajar di Sekolah
Kebangsaan Kubang Gajah. Permainan yang di gemarinya ialah bermain Beyblade bersama
kawan-kawannya iaitu jiran tetangga kami. Adik saya seorang yang ceria dan bersemangat
tetapi dia bukan seorang yang menyukai sukan. Bagi saya dia adalah adik lelaki saya yang
berharga untuk saya walaupun kami sering bertengkar. Dia seorang yang memilih makanan
yang ingin dia makan tetapi seperti budak yang berumur sebayanya, dia amat mengemari
makanan ringan dan tidak berkhasiat seperti keropok dan lain- lain. Hobinya adalah
bermain. Saya sering menolongnya membuat kerja sekolah pada tahun pandemik ini kerana
ibu dan ayah kami berkerja. Adik saya sangat keras kepala dan degil dengan mulutnya yang
tidak berhenti berceloteh apabila saya menyuruh atau melarangnya tetapi dia hanya
mendengar kata orang tua kami. Sebagai kakak sulung, sayalah yang bertanggungjawab
untuk menjaganya. Saya berharap dia menjadi orang yang berguna apabila dia besar nanti.

Ayah saya mempunyai pengalaman dalam pertandingan Taekwondo dan adik saya
baru sahaja ingin menceburi sukan ni kerana dia berminat dengan sukan ni. Manakala, saya
dan ibu saya tidak gemar bersukan kerana fizikal yang kecil. Saya pernah memasuki
pertandingan Teakwondo tetapi saya berhenti kerana saya tidak sanggup dengan latihan
yang mencabar. Saya dapat membawa balik pingat gangsa dan saya bersyukur walaupun
tidak lah seberapa. Keluarga kami sering berpindah randah sewaktu saya masih kecil, saya
pernah bersekolah di Sekolah Kebangsaan Pauh, Sekolah Kebangsaan Jalan Raja Syed Alwi,
Sekolah Kebangsaan Simpang Empat, Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Simpang Empat,
Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Dato’ Sheikh Ahmad dan akhir sekali Sekolah Menengah
Kebangsaan Syed Sirajuddin. Sebelum pandemik ini berlaku kami sekeluarga sering berjalan-
jalan di Pulau Pinang pada hari cuti. Kami pernah melancong ke Universal Studios di
Singapore. Pengalaman yang saya tidak boleh lupai ialah rollercoster mumia di situ. Selepas
saya menaiki rollercoster itu saya menangis kerana terlalu takut. Untuk budak seperti saya
pada masa itu adalah pengalaman yang paling seram yang saya alami. Sehingga kini, saya
fobia menaiki rollercoster atau segala permainan yang laju di taman tema. Memori terindah
saya adalah taman teman air di Bukit Merah. Setiap hari cuti minggu kami sekeluarga sering
pergi ke situ untuk bercuti ataupun kolam air panas untuk bersenang-senang. Tidak akan
saya sesekali lupa memori ini.

Kesimpulannya, keluarga kami bukanlah keluarga yang senang tetapi kami amat
bersyukur dengan apa yang kami ada kerana kami sering berkerja keras dengan apa yang
kami nak. Kami sekeluarga sering ada untuk sama satu lain. Saya sangat menyayangi

MEMORI SAYA

Ayah saya mempunyai pengalaman dalam pertandingan Taekwondo dan adik saya baru

ibu saya tidak gemar bersukan kerana fizikal yang kecil. Saya pernah memasuki
pertandingan Teakwondo tetapi saya berhenti kerana saya tidak sanggup dengan latihan
yang mencabar. Saya dapat membawa balik pingat gangsa dan saya bersyukur walaupun
tidak lah seberapa. Keluarga kami sering berpindah randah sewaktu saya masih kecil, saya
pernah bersekolah di Sekolah Kebangsaan Pauh, Sekolah Kebangsaan Jalan Raja Syed Alwi,
Sekolah Kebangsaan Simpang Empat, Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Simpang Empat,
Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Dato’ Sheikh Ahmad dan akhir sekali Sekolah Menengah
Kebangsaan Syed Sirajuddin. Sebelum pandemik ini berlaku kami sekeluarga sering berjalan-
jalan di Pulau Pinang pada hari cuti. Kami pernah melancong ke Universal Studios di
Singapore. Pengalaman yang saya tidak boleh lupai ialah rollercoster mumia di situ. Selepas
saya menaiki rollercoster itu saya menangis kerana terlalu takut. Untuk budak seperti saya
pada masa itu adalah pengalaman yang paling seram yang saya alami. Sehingga kini, saya
fobia menaiki rollercoster atau segala permainan yang laju di taman tema. Memori terindah
saya adalah taman teman air di Bukit Merah. Setiap hari cuti minggu kami sekeluarga sering
pergi ke situ untuk bercuti ataupun kolam air panas untuk bersenang-senang. Tidak akan
saya sesekali lupa memori ini.

KPENUTUP esimpulannya, keluarga kami bukanlah keluarga yang senang
tetapi kami amat bersyukur dengan apa yang kami ada kerana

kami sering berkerja keras dengan apa yang kami nak. Kami

sekeluarga sering ada untuk sama satu lain. Saya sangat

menyayangi keluarga kecil saya dan bersyukur saya dilahirkan di keluarga ini.
