shredding capacities from around 500 lbs. per

any in-house destruction requirements.

Maintaining control of sensitive information from
generation, to storage to destruction and disposal
is the best way to protect your organization from
liability due to a data breach. However when
volumes get too high many companies fearing
a large financial investment, look to outside
entities to handle document destruction for
them. Unfortunately in many cases they have no
idea what happens to their items once they leave
their facility.

An Intimus high volume shredding system allows
businesses to maintain strict control of their
destruction process ensuring no data leave the
premises until has been destroyed and reduced
the appropriate particle size as outlined in DIN
66399. And while there is an initial investment
required, it is often less than expected and over
the life of the system is far less than outsourcing.

Unmatched Versatility

While paper may be the most prevalent media
that an organization needs to destroy, we
recognize that more sensitive information is
stored on digital media like HDDs, SSDs, Optical
Discs, Flash Drives, Memory Sticks etc. And
while the volume requirements of these items
may be significantly less than paper, they all pose
unique destruction challenges.

systems are also capable of destroying some
type of digital media. Each product in this
brochure has icons to help you identify at-a-
glance what type of media they can destroy.

Intimus 14.95 Series paper shredders destroy up to 130 sheets paper
per pass. They feature a belt conveyor feed, a large sortation table and
a paddle system to shred both flat sheets and crumpled paper.

The 14.87 Series includes an integrated baler. It shreds, compacts
and bales simultaneously. The 14.87 is ideal for organizations looking
to maximize recycling efforts. The 14.87 shreds and compacts up to
660 lbs of paper per hour making it one of the most productive combo
units on the market. The baler generates 9 tons of force to create neat
tightly packed bales. Push button control activates the bale ejection
system and secures the bale by wrapping it with 2 straps.

The intimus 16 Series heavy duty shredders with SmartShred
Touchscreen Controls can handle up to 550 sheets at a time or up to
1,500 lbs per hour. The spacious feed table with integrated infeed
conveyor belt provides controlled, effortless, safe and fast loading. It
features a safety chest bar that shuts down the conveyor and cutting
head when the user leans too close to the feed opening and cutting
head.

While the 16.50 series collects the shredded material in large mobile
containers stored below the cutting mechanism, the 16.86 combines
the shredder with a press baler for immediate fully automatic compaction
of the cut material into compact bales. Reduction effect compared to the
loose collection of the cuttings is about 70%.

The XL Series is a heavy-duty shredding system ideal solution for secure
destruction of paper documents, complete ring binders, lever arch files,
boxes, tape media, and much more. The robust, high capacity cutting
units, optimized and powerful drives, and fully automatic function control
provide for automated destruction of enormous amounts of whole files,
computer printout lists, writing paper, and other high security materials.

The primary shredder is equipped with a powerful electric-powered
geared drive designed to cope with thick stacks of paper. The cutting
shafts with specially designed hardened tool steel cutters provide high
throughput and effective shredding.

XLM models are equipped with a magnetic metal separator to remove
parts, such as metal rings prior to shredding.

Two shredding steps: From primary shredder – 13⁄16" strip cut –
particles fall onto a conveyor belt and are transported directly to
the cutting shafts of the security shredder.
Automatic feed of material to pre-shredder via large feed
conveyor and hopper

Precision cutting cylinders made from special hardened steel
allow for high through-put volumes with minimal wear and low
power consumption.
Equipped with an integrated magnetic separator. Obsolete ring
binders, patient files and other records with metal reinforcements
for hanging file folder cabinets no longer need to be sorted out
for removal of integrated metal components. (XLM models only)
Scrapped metal parts are collected in a mobile receptacle,
from which they can be disposed of. (XLM models only)

Intimus Physical Media Disintegrators are high-speed rotary knife
mills that use 3, 5, or 7 blades mounted to a heavy steel, spinning
rotor and 2 stationary knives to create a scissor action to cut items
until they are small enough to pass through a waste sizing screen.
They are ideal for fast convenient and secure destruction of a wide
range of media with no need for sorting.

Our full line of physical media disintegrators streamlines the data
destruction process, allowing organizations to shred documents,
binders, optical discs, ID cards, and more in a single pass, without
having to sort beforehand. Entire storehouses of obsolete documentation
and data can be destroyed with minimal effort or time investment.

The intimus HDD Gladiator meets and exceeds industry standards for
efficient and reliable media destruction.

Hard drives are broken down into small fragments. The HDD Gladiator is
powerful, fast and reliable. This product range includes machines for
various applications and offers solutions up to and including security
level H-4 according to DIN 66399. The shredding of the hard drive is a
safe and economical destruction process that ensures the data they
contained is completely unrecoverable. The HDD Gladiator allows for a
visual inspection of the successful destruction.
