STORY TIME FIGHTING THE FEAR
Once there was a village haunted by a Demon. A huge, big demon who wanted food,
but he always betrayed the villagers and killed the man who brought the food. This
became a tradition of that village that on every full moon night the demon would
come near the village’s gate.
A warrior was passing by the village on a horse. He saw many people standing
surrounding a young boy. He went to an old man and asked why they all were
standing here. The old man said him that he is going to give food to demon. The
warrior said, ‘but why everybody seems so tensed’. The man told him “The man
who goes to give food to the demon never ever comes back”. The warrior said “Can
I go and give him food”. At first the old man hesitated but when saw the sword
loaded on his horse’s back, he approved.
The warrior went out to face the demon on his horse. The old man guided him the
way to the demon. The demon was about 20 feet tall. He took a deep breath started
heading towards the Demon. He saw many people were living in tents outside the
village. One man came to him and said “don’t go otherwise you will be killed “. But
the warrior didn’t listen to him and walked on. He noticed, height is becoming
shorter and shorter. After travelling 2 miles he was shocked to see the scene. He saw
a dwarf man was standing on a mound of sand wearing a creepy looking costume of
a demon. The dwarf man was actually the king of the town, who was experimenting
in the village to find a fearless, courageous, and brave match for his daughter. He
took him to his kingdom and gave him his daughter’s hand.
Moral: ‘FEAR’ is just a term, and is an obstacle in the way of success. One
should always overcome their fear to achieve the successful results.
