Well Done to Year 6 Dear Parent/Carers, Another week has whizzed by...a big thank you to all the parents who
who sat their mock joined us for our Maths Workshop sessions this week. All in all there
were around 70 parents who came to listen to Mrs Thompson share how
SATS this week. we teach maths here at Bilton C of E Junior School. She spoke about
particular methods we use and the language your children will hear as
part of their learning. It is great having such support from parents. Some
comments written by parents who attended include:

'Very helpful - I feel much more confident about helping my son at home.'

'Very helpful and informative. Helped me to understand how maths is being taught to my son so that I
am in a better position to support him at home with his learning.'

'The session was extremely helpful to help me understand how to support my child at home. It made it
clearer what my child is talking about when she is explaining things to me. Everything was clearly ex-
plained in the presentation. Thank you.'

Year 4 Parents / 'Thanks to Mrs Thompson for presenting the workshop for parents - and offering two times of day, and
Carers—Pupil for playing a DVD for the kids!'
