FeatureWs arwickshire Junior Book Awards.

We had a lovely time at the Warwickshire
Junior Book Awards. Each author spoke a
little of their experiences as an author,
where they find their inspiration and the
research that goes into their stories. We had
an opportunity to ask some questions and
attend a book signing before returning to
school.

It was an incredible event to be involved
with and our children were inspired by the
experience. Of the four books shortlisted,
our children and others across Warwickshire
voted Sylvia Bishop's The Night Train as their
favourite.

Thank you so much to Miss Watkins for
organising this event for the children and
also a huge thanks the children who
participated in the competition and the
parents who supported us on the day.
