Dear Parents,
SPECIAL
POINTS OF Thanks to all those who came to our Christmas Fayre on Saturday last week. It was a
INTEREST: brilliant event organised by the PTA. I love it when we get the opportunity as a community
to get together, have fun and raise much needed funds for the school. Please see some
Christmas photos of the event but if you didn't manage to get there then maybe we will see you at
jumper / non the Summer Fayre on Saturday 22nd June :-)

We are looking forward to seeing you at the Christmas services at St Mark's this year. If
(no cost / you can help walk with us to church then please come along. These are held in the daytime
donation this year and we take two year groups at a time to celebrate Christmas. We very much

Lunchtime Quiet Room Lunch Time Top Table

We are looking for a team of parents/volunteers to help at Elena G—3SV Sayf A—5AL
lunchtimes to provide a facility where children can be Millie H—5AL Daisy R—5SS
indoors if they wish during the colder months. Children Emily W—3ED
usually have colouring facilities/quizzes and quiet games. Wisdom

Every week Mr. Wilson and his team awards children
for demonstrating our Christian values during lunch
time, the nominated children get an invitation to join
the top table on the Friday of that week.

Radio Programs on Cracker Radio

4 of our children are running their own radio stations at

Cracker Radio. Katy Thomas and her team have opened

up their annual 'Crackateria' Cafe to raise money in
Rugby forFashion with Heart Creations, which is an
initiative for giving men and women skills to be
able to build a business in India to be able to
sustain their communities. Well done to Oliver,

Charles, Kathryn and Charlotte for generously giving
their time and skill for such a worthy cause.

Prayer group at BJS

Dearest Parents/Guardians, Hello All, for some years
We, the children in Year 5, would now we have a prayer group
like to invite you to school, on that meets each week to
Friday 14th December at 14:30, pray for the school and
to share and celebrate our families. If you wish to come
learning with our WWII topic along they meet at 8:45a.m
studied this term. each Friday. Alternatively if you have anything you
would like us to pray about then please let me know

the following children during Thursday’s assembly:

3SV—Sammy C—he always works very hard in all that he
does
3ED—Alfie B for trying really hard in his assessments
3ES—Madison L & Felix H for amazing cake creations in
their Stone Age cake projects (they were delicious)
4AT—Ruth H for always working hard in every lesson
4FM—Alicia M for increased confidence and enthusiasm
in all subjects
4DB—James F for an improved attitude in his learning
5JE—Nodhim L for writing a superb poem with very good
use of rhyme
5SS—Evie P for her super enthusiasm in maths
5AL—Bennie R for being really engaged with his
learning—so ambitious for his future
6KC—William H for a more confident attitude towards his
work
6CC—Lennon H for a positive working attitude in learning
hub and group work this week
6JB—Sophie C for fantastic contributions to class
discussions

Hillmorton Junior Football Club

Hillmorton Junior Football Club are
looking to increase the number of boys
and girls that they have in their reception
and year 1 age groups, in the New Year.

We are a family orientated club that
provides football sessions for children of

all abilities. Our sessions are run by
qualified coaches in preparation for the
children playing their first matches. The
best bit is we only charge £5 per month.

Funstar StreetDance club offers children a chance to learn the coolest commercial & hip-hop moves to the latest songs whilst having fun
in a relaxed and safe environment. We incorporate challenging games which teach children life skills, self- confidence and encourage
them to be active. Our most important aim is to have FUN. What better way to end the day!!

We run a motivating awards system where each month one child who we feel has excelled and improved considerably will receive a Funstar trophy, there may also
be the opportunity to show off their talent in assemblies, school performances and to parents.
