PART 2 : PERSONAL RESPONSES ON THE ISSUE

OPINIONS Ghanim Nahrunil bin Mohamad Yusof MS2311170631 Muhammad Firas Aliyan Bin Mohd Rizal MS2311170175 Bullying must be stopped immediately. It is because it may affect the psychological well being of the victim.Victim of bullying might feel rejected self conscious and afraid in the public.Bullying usually happen when students does not feel love between their parents or rebelling against parents. Adam Hariths Mustafa Bin Zulhelmi Ms2311170104 In my personal opinion , every issue has its own roots and cause and in order to solve the issue find its cause first. In bullying most of the time its not what was the kid experiencing but what was shown to them. In this case adult of the children should play the part to control them. I strongly believe , one of the biggest role in children’s live not only their parents but also peers . Peers also could be a role model to certain children that they strongly believe is correct in any thing that their peers is doing which most of the time is wrong. Putting the blame on them for choosing friends that is a bad influence to them is not 100% correct, the parent should have advice in advance about this type of friends before they step in school

REACTIONS Victims experienced mostly feelings of vengefullness , anger and self- pity , bulies were mainly sorry or indifferent . Surveys indicate that bullying may now be the most frequent form of school violence. Statistics indicate almost one quarter of students have experienced cruel interaction with peers on a consistent basis. All of the people were afraid to get bullied. Students still don’t know how to defend their self expecially when they were discriminated.

Commentary Bullying does still happen in upper level education and doesn’t just mean pushing kids around on the playground it can also happen online such as bad commenting on one’s post on social media or negative criticism. According to Pacer’s National Bullying Prevention Center , more than one out of five students are bullied. Studies show on Do Something.Org , over 67% of students believe that schools respond poorly to bullying with high percentage of student believing that adult’s help in preventing bullying is ineffective and infrequent.

CAUSE AND EFFECTS Dysfunctional Family Poor academic performance Abusive home life Authoritarian parenting style Inclination in engaging bullying Frustration and venting their feelings through bullying Aggresive behavior Inadvertently foster aggression in their children

PART 2 (B) : WAYS TO OVERCOME ISSUE

Signs of a positive school atmosphere includes kid’s ability to freely connect with teachers and their peers. RAISE BULLYING AWARENESS IN SCHOOLS AND AT HOME ESTABLISH A POSITIVE SCHOOL ENVIRONMENT We need to incoperate mental health topics into the educational curriculum . Parents and educator can improve student awareness by teaching them social skills . PARENTS SHOULD BE INVOLVE Form a groyup of commited parents to assisst student in addressing the problem .Meet on a regular basis to generate ideas communicate with them along with school administrator , and assist in putting new plans or porposal in to effect.

Encourage an open and communicative relationship with your child Parents should be available for their children to talk about their worries and make sure they know where they can go to seek support. School exposure on bullies SOLUTIONS Pay attention to warning signs Parents should pay attention to signs such as loss of appetite, avoiding socializing, loss of personal items and unexplained injuries It is important that parents communicate with the school and provide them with as much detail as possible

Educate children about bullying Children begin to learn how to behave themselves at an early age and the adults plays a big role model because they learn how to behave based on our actions Don’t interfere with bullying If the situation seems threatening or dangerous , it’s best to get away from it.
