15/9/2020 Welcome back to nursery.
Ava enjoys painting in nursery.
Ava can use the scooter outside, She can go super
fast.
Making bubbles in the water. Ava is playing with her friend Kate at the dolls house.
September-December Personal Learning Plan
I am learning to take responsibility for and begin
to plan my own learning. As part of my PLP target I
identified that I want to play with play dough.
Yuck it’s sticky.
I need some flour.
Ava enjoys playing with
the play dough.

Bundle 7/3– I am able to follow instructions to complete a task.
Ava was listening to the instructions Ava was listening to the instructions to

Ava was a great help stacking
the dishes in the dishwasher , she
was following the instructions.

Bundle 10/3 —I can recognise my own name.
Ava can find her name at the art area. Ava is so happy that she can find her
own name.
Ava found her name in
the garden. Ava could find her own name when it was
written with other names on the board.

Ava got a beautiful birthday card. The Ava chose some star glasses and bubbles

Ava was collecting leaves to make a leaf kebab in Ava and her friends were having snack in the woods.

Ava was counting out the spiders in the

Star Helper
Ava was star helper.
First she has to count her friends. We put the signs on the window so we can all see.
Then we sing the days of the week song.
Then we have to find out what the weather is like.
Christmas Party 16/12/20
Ava had fun at the Christmas party.
We played party games. We had a yummy snack. We had a visit from Santa and he left
us a present.
Mrs Kilpatrick gave me
my present , I got a book
and some chocolate.
December 2020 Ava opened the advent
calendar and got the
Christmas jumper day. chocolate.
Ava was helping to decorate
the Christmas tree.

Ava has settled back into nursery and is
making friends, she enjoys the art area
especially and is growing in confidence.

January - March Personal Learning Plan
I want to do As we are not able to be together in nursery just
paintings. now I hope Ava will enjoy the activities that will
be sent out for these PLP targets.
HEALTH & WELL-BEING: I am able to throw, catch, roll and
bounce a ball with both hands.
LITERACY: I use small tools effectively and with
control. Scissors, tweezers, paint brushes.
NUMERACY : I name and identify some common 2d
shapes.

a circle, a square and a triangle. She was
unsure of a rectangle.

I name and identify some common 2D shapes.
Ava had fun at Easter with
her friends, We decorated
eggs to roll down the hill,
then we found chocolate
eggs to eat. We went to a
new play park and had a
picnic.
January-March PLP Elvaluation
Ava has worked hard since coming back to
nursery, she has been learning to throw,
catch, bounce and roll a ball with both
hands. Ava has been using small tools like
scissors and tweezers, this will help to
strengthen her fingers to help hold her
pencil in a good position for writing. Ava
has also been learning about 2d shapes she
can recognise a circle, square, triangle
and star but she is unsure of a rectangle.
We will continue to work on this.

Ava has great fun climbing Ava was helping to cook on
trees in the woods. the camp fire in the woods,
she has been learning about
fire safety.

Numeracy
Ava was looking for numbers when we were
out for our walk.
Ava can recognise and order numbers
to 10.
Ava can copy a simple pattern.
June 2021 Milestone Evaluation.
Ava has been working really hard on her
milestone tasks. She can get herself ready
independently. Ava has been finding out
what plants need to grow. Ava has been
adding excellent detail into her drawings
and she is beginning to write her own name.
Ava is number confident to 10 and has been
exploring patterns she can copy a
repeating pattern and more complex
patterns. Well done Ava you have worked
really hard and I know you are ready for
your next learning chapter in primary 1.
Transition to School
Hello Ava I am Miss
Millen, I am your
primary 1 teacher.
Ava had fun when she
visited her primary 1 class.
Moving on to School
Ava as you move on into school I am going to miss your bubbly, happy, smiley face. You have
worked so hard during what has been a very difficult year with COVID 19 but you have shown
me how strong you are and you came back to nursery ready and willing to work hard on
all the tasks you were set. I know you will work hard as you continue into school. Best
wishes to you and all your family and good luck for primary 1.
