Elderbank early years class

August 2020 Back to nursery. I like making play
dough.
Aaliyah is happy to be back at nursery, here are some of the
things she likes to do.

September-December Personal learning plan

I am learning to take responsibility for and
begin to plan my own learning. As part of my
PLP target I identified that I want to play
outside.

Seen by parents on see-saw. Aaliyah loves playing outside with her friends.
She is on the taxi bike with Ivy.

Aaliyah 4 today.

Aaliyah got a card with number 4 on it
and got to choose from the birthday
box. All her friends sang happy

We all had fun at our Christmas party.

We played some games. We had a visit from Santa
and he left us a present.

e.g coats, shoes.

As we are now back at nursery after lockdown, I
am learning to take responsibility for and begin to
plan my own learning. As part of my PLP target I

January - March PLP Evaluation

Aaliyah has been working hard on
her PLP targets both at home and on
her return to nursery. Aaliyah can
now put on her own puddlesuit and
wellies and just needs a little help
with the zip. Aaliyah is now putting
more details into her drawing.
Aaliyah has been learning about 2d
shapes and can name a triangle and
circle and star but is unsure of a
square and rectangle, we will
continue to work on this.

on her milestone tasks, she has
been learning about how things
grow and she has been helping
to look after the plants in our
garden. Aaliyah has been
looking at the difference
between letters and numbers
and she has been trying to write
some letters in her name.
Aaliyah has been looking at
patterns and she can copy a
repeating pattern. She can order
her numbers to 5 independently
but still need support to 10.

Aaliyah as you move on into school I am going to miss your
cheeky, smiley face. You have worked so hard during what has
been a very difficult year with COVID 19. You have grown in
confidence and you have been working hard on all your tasks. I
know you will work hard as you continue into school. Best
wishes to you and all your family and good luck for primary 1.
