Stranger Things Season 4 Predictions
Predictions, release date and character updates. Everything you need to know.
Eleven — Millie Bobby Brown — Stranger Things Season 4
We’re all waiting to see Stranger Things Season 4 with curious minds — each passing
day takes us closer to the show premiere on Net몭ix. It all started with Will’s
disappearance and the hidden secret experiments in a small town uncovering terrifying
supernatural forces with a strange little girl which has continued to Season 3.
Our favorite characters Will, Joyce, Hopper, Eleven, Mike, Lucas, Dustin, Jonathan and
Nancy were the main cast of all seasons and are still top of mind as we enter into this
exciting fourth season..
Is Stranger Things season 4 out?
If you’ve been living under a rock and missed the news earlier this fall, the fourth
season will be split into two parts, Volume 1 will be released on May 27, 2022 followed
by Volume 2 on July 1, 2022.
With nine scripts, over 800 pages, nearly 2 years of shooting scenes, so many visual
e몭ects shots, and a runtime almost double the duration of any previous season,
Stranger Things 4 was the most complex and di몭cult season so far to produce, but
apparently also the most exciting. The Du몭er brothers wrote in a lengthy
announcement letter.
“Everyone involved is excited with the outcome, and we can’t wait to share it with
you.”
Season 4 is one of the most eagerly awaited new television seasons presently in
creation, and fans are eager to discover everything they can predict about upcoming
episodes. So, here’s everything we know about Season 4 of Stranger Things so far, from
story and casting details to 몭lming updates.
Joyce and Murray traveling to Russia for Hopper — Stranger Things Season 4
The Stranger Things Season 4 trailer was released to highlight the beginning of 몭lming
on February 14, 2020. It’s only a short teaser with only Hopper’s (David Harbour) in it.
Then, on May 6, 2021, another teaser was published, this time taking us back to the
Rainbow Room and hinting at Eleven’s origin storyline being told in Season 4. We got
another look at the upcoming season on August 6, 2021, with a lot more fresh material
mixed in with footage from past seasons.
We got a small video of the terrifying Creel House that the kids investigated on
September 25, 2021, which also revealed the family who had lived there. Finally, on
November 6, 2021, we’ll get a complete treaser with Eleven sending a letter to Mike
about her new life in California, adjusting to life, and looking forward to seeing him
again for Spring Break. The next year, on April 12, 2022, the 몭nal trailer was released.
Is Stranger Things season 4 the last season?
Stranger Things has become one of Net몭ix’s most popular series, as well as a cultural
phenomenon, since its 2016 launch.
After a three-year delay, the sci-몭 series will return in 2022 for its long-awaited fourth
season, which will continue the plot following the twists and turns of the season 3
몭nale.
However, viewers have been left wondering if Stranger Things has a future beyond
season 4 and if the forthcoming season would be the 몭nal.
Those who enjoy Stranger Things will be pleased to discover that the fourth season will
not be the last installment of the popular Net몭ix series.
Joyce Byers — Winona Ryder — Stranger Things Season 4
It was revealed in February 2022 that the sci-몭 horror series will return for a 몭fth
season, which will air in the near future.
While a 몭fth season has been announced, it has also been revealed that season 5 will be
the last chapter, putting Stranger Things to a close.
In a letter to supporters in February 2022, the Du몭er brothers announced the news.
The Du몭er brothers (co-creators) said in a letter to fans, which can be viewed in full on
Deadline, that the goal was for the show to run for “four or 몭ve seasons,” but that the
script became “too large to complete in four.”
Mike-Lucas-Dustin — Stranger Things Season 4
Co-creators have declared in a letter that “Season 5 will be the 몭nal” of “The Stranger
Co-creators have declared in a letter that “Season 5 will be the 몭nal” of “The Stranger
Things tv series.”
Season 5 might be the series’ 몭nal season, the pair previously told Vulture in 2017. Ross
Du몭er remarked, “We’re expecting it’ll be a 몭ve-season deal and then out.”
“I don’t know if we can rationalize anything horrible occurring to them once a year,” his
brother, Matt, added.
According to the show’s executive producer Shawn Levy, though, a di몭erent result was
teased. In April 2018, he told Collider, “There’s very much the chance of a season
beyond that one, that’s presently undecided.”
“And what I’d simply say is that while the Du몭ers and the writer’s room, as well as we
producers, script the entire season, the Du몭ers really use the writing process to review,
evaluate, and challenge all of their past assumptions,” says the producer.
What will Stranger Things 4 be about?
We already know that the new season is going to heavily focus on the mysteries and the
eerie nature of the Upside Down.
Net몭ix even uploaded the trailer to their Instagram handle with the caption that reads
it’s time along with the words see you on the other side turned upside down. So, let’s
try and break down everything we saw in the new trailer.
“You have broken everything, your su몭ering is almost at an end” — Vecna.
What could this mean? Maybe by opening these portals, our characters have
inadvertently ended his su몭ering stuck inside the Upside Down. The trailer shows the
Creel House grandfather clock ticking down and then the 몭rst close-up of Vecna
shooting his eyes open as if he has just been awakened. He looks absolutely terrifying.
The trailer is set to separate ways worlds apart by journey which came out in 1983. It
starts o몭 with us seeing Max, played by Sadie Sink sitting at her brother Billy’s grave
who we all know died last season when he sacri몭ced himself against the nerve-
wracking 몭ght with the mind 몭are.
This sounds like the kids are still dealing with the trauma from season 3. It doesn’t look
like they’re brushing anything under the rug. They have a lot to deal with, Eleven lost
her powers, Mike lost Eleven, Will and Hopper are seemingly dead. Max lost Billy and
the town now knows that something suspicious is going on.
We see an Upside Down shot. It looks like we’re at a trailer park. A bunch of people
staying here are wondering about the roadblock the police set up to see what’s
happening. It looks like Hawkins police are on the scene, maybe a detective is
questioning onlookers. There’s some country sheri몭s and maybe some EMT wheeling
out someone in a body bag past an ambulance. Something weird de몭nitely happened
that attracted a lot of attention and somebody didn’t survive in the scene. We also see
Steve, Robin and Dustin pull up to check out what’s going on and de몭nitely do with
something Upside Down.
Then we get to see Hawkins high school preparing for a rally with Lucas who is now on
the basketball team. Mike and Dustin cheer from the stands but from the looks of it,
they’re not too thrilled about being here. Lucas will be going in a new direction with the
sports and Mike and Dustin will be alone with the new guys in the hell몭re club until
Mike leaves from California.
Next, we see Eleven, Will, Jonathan and Argyle arriving at school in California. We see
that Eleven gets brushed o몭 by her friends and he does nothing about it, like it doesn’t
even happen. Then we see Max wandering around alone at Hawkins at night with
even happen. Then we see Max wandering around alone at Hawkins at night with
몭ashlight which for starters is an awful idea and stumbles across the creel clock
cemented into the wall.
We also see Hopper who also sacri몭ced himself at the end of the last season. By now we
all know that Hopper survived after what went down last season but how he survived is
still something that remains unanswered. Anyway, we see Hopper inside a Russian
prison facility not having the easiest time inside even being forced to 몭ght a
Demogorgon.
We also see Eleven who has apparently lost her powers after the epic shutdown last
season talking to Dr. Sam owens who is seen asking Eleven for help, saying that without
her they can’t win what’s coming. Referring to him helping Joyce, Will, Jonathan and
Eleven move from Hawkins Indiana at the end of the season 3 to where they are now in
California. What we can see here is that Joyce got the money for such a nice house in
California. Anyway, We also see the kids at the roller rink, Will third-wheeling behind
Mike and Eleven.
We also see Joyce receiving a package from Russia then we also see a helicopter most
likely Sam Owens landing in front of maybe safe house that the kids are staying there
and we hear Owen say that “The war is coming, I’m afraid your friends and Hawkins
are very much in the eye of the storm” and then we see all the shots of the Hawkins
gang entering Creel House for the 몭rst time and making it to the attic before all their
lights are 몭ickering, de몭nitely some Upside Down stu몭 about to go down here. Eleven
responds to Owens with “I don’t have my power” and Sam says “I don’t know how to say
this other than just to say this without you we can’t win this war.” Sam needs Eleven in
her powers to 몭ght the Upside Down to save her friends and possibly the world as they
know it.
4 Portals — Stranger Things Season 4
We also see them taking Eleven away from Mike in the back of a van. Now, next is one
the biggest easter eggs of the entire trailer. There was only one frame not the Upside
Down but it was a shot of four portals and not only four four portals but four di몭erent
time codes, left to right are 1:46, 2:30, :33 and last one :52. The two portals on the left
are orange and the two on the right are blue, now normally inside the Upside Down is
completely blue. Maybe the right side are the Upside Down portals and the ones on the
left are from the real world.
We will see Max was seen talking to her brother at his grave in the trailer. The camera
then cuts to a shot where she’s in the upside down itself running away from some sort
of Demogorgon creature.
Later, we again cut to a scene where we see her possessed by something when she’s
visiting her brother’s grave with her friends. We get a shot of her levitating over their
heads.
A war that threatens her friends and the world at large in the 몭nal moments of the
trailer, we see something terrifying: a humanoid creature comes down to the ground
and multiple tentacles attached to its side. A 몭nal close-up of this creature reveals that
it has a 몭eshy yet skull-like appearance could this be the mind 몭ayer’s 몭nal form that
our protagonist will have to face.
Villain (VECNA) — Stranger Things Season 4
Next, we see a Creel House with a giant clock called the creel clock which we previously
saw in the teasers and there is a new villain in the town. It could be the mind 몭ayer’s
몭nal form as we have seen a lot of signs point towards last seasons. The creature
(Vecna) has come back with a vengeance and it looks like it’s out to destroy eleven and
her friends.
The next famous character is Max and a lot of big questions mark that the new trailer
left for us. The new trailer really seemed to focus a lot on Sadie Sink’s character. So, this
could mean that we could expect some big things from her this season, not only that
but a pretty big shot that we saw of her was when she was seen levitating her brother’s
grave.
Now, this has made fans on social media completely dumbfounded and we have heard
people predicting how levitation could be an indication that she has acquired psychic
powers especially considering how Eleven seems to have lost hers now as amazing as
that sounds there’s nothing really out there could be a better explanation as to why max
was 몭oating in the air in the trailer.
We all know that Billy is Max’s brother who sacri몭ced himself last season indirectly
going to have a huge part to play this time around as well. We even know that episode 4
is titled dear Billy which further backs up that we’re not really done with the character
just yet.
Billy was a vessel for the mind 몭ayer as fans of the show might remember, so, It might
be possible that the creature still has some form of control over his body and that it’s
using that control to get Max. This could also be why towards the end of the trailer we
see Max running away from the creature inside the upside down.
So, that could be that Vecna’s mind 몭ayer is trying to take over her mind 몭are and
possibly make her another vessel for itself. Only time will tell what’s really going on.
What we saw in the trailer but out of all the theories and stranger things 4 predictions,
there’s one possibility of there being multiple dimensions. Now, it really wouldn’t be a
stretch to say that Stranger Things a show based on science 몭ction could also add time
travel and alternative realities spice things up even more upside down already exists.
So, there could be some more pieces of evidence to back this theory up are two
So, there could be some more pieces of evidence to back this theory up are two
separate shots of Billy’s grave. One which reads William Hargrove while the other reads
Billy Hargrove.
We get it… that just that bit of evidence isn’t enough support to alternative dimension
theory and that could be an oversight or an edit that was later to the trailer or
something like that. It’s entirely possible there have been enough of these mistakes in
the media before.
Nancy — Stranger Things 4
The gateways have opened around the two minute mark. In the new trailer we see a
brief shot of what looks like gateways to the other dimensions. This again opens up the
idea of there being alternative dimensions and realities in the Stranger Things universe.
None of us can say for sure what the shots actually mean but it does open up debate
among the Stranger Things 4 fans over what the implications could be if there were
other dimensions.
The man with the guitar and the blind man in the 몭nal montage of the trailer right
before we’re introduced to the new villain. We see a glimpse of a guy absolutely in the
moment just rocking a guitar on the building in the upside down. Now, you might be
wondering who this unknown man is. Well, it’s Eddie Munson, a new addition to the
cast and the leader of the Hell몭re club, Hawkins High’s D&D club is the club Mike and
Justin decided to join.
We also get a short look at a seemingly blind Victor Creel played by Robert Englund
famous for playing Freddy Krueger unfortunately we don’t know much about except to
the Du몭er Brothers saying that he’s gonna play a pivotal role in the new stranger thing
season 4.
Who will all be in Stranger Things 4?
Net몭ix has unveiled some new images from Stranger Things 4, and some put a spotlight
on two newcomers joining the cast of characters: Argyle and Eddie. In addition to
them, We have another new character o몭cially revealed from a press release as well as
the actor portraying that character, but 몭rst we’ll focus on our two new protagonists.
Joseph Quinn will play Eddie Munson, the leader of the Hell몭re club, Hawkins High’s
D&D club.
Back in November 2020, when he was 몭rst announced, the o몭cial character
description revealed that Eddie would be an audacious 80’s metalhead hated by those
who don’t understand him, and beloved by those who do. It also said that Eddie will
몭nd himself at the terrifying epicenter of the Stranger things Season 4’s mysteries.
Steve-Eddie — Nancy-Robin — Stranger Things 4
In this image, he is standing next to Robin, Nancy and Steve, making him the
temporary Jonathan Byers replacement for our gang of Hawking’s heroes. Right after
those four and Billy Hargrove, Eddie would be the show’s sixth primary teenage
character, closely followed by Argyle this season.
Eduardo Franco is playing Argyle, a fun-loving stoner who proudly delivers delicious
pizza pies for Surfer Boy Pizza. Above that, he will be Jonathan’s new best friend,
adding the much needed character development to a character that many viewers
simply see as Nancy’s boyfriend and sidekick.
Seeing Argyle’s sense of humor play o몭 from Jonathan’s seriousness will be very
intriguing to witness on screen, especially with an actor as funny as Franko. Argyle and
Eddie are among the three new characters who have been made series regulars for
Stranger Things season 4.
Jamie Campbell Bower also joins the main cast as Peter Ballard, though he hasn’t been
included in anything yet aside from some leaked set photos from early 2021. It still isn’t
quite clear how these newcomers will 몭t in alongside the core group, but it looks like
they could prove to be vital allies in the latest battle against the Upside Down. With
Eddie, Stranger Things season 4 can return to its roots with some classic D&D fun; after
all, this is a series that 몭rst began with its characters playing the beloved game.
Lastly, we have another small tidbit that was hidden from yesterday’s fun and chaotic
day: another casting addition. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Logan Riley
Bruner will be playing the new character “Fred Benson” who we brie몭y talked about in
a couple of videos since late 2020 when all of these new characters were leaked by
Murphy’s Multiverse and slowly being con몭rmed by the news outlets.
In the original character breakdown from Charles Murphy Fred was described as
checking all the boxes of the stereotypical 80’s nerd. The bespectacled “Fred” despite
being nerdy, is clever and is pursuing his passion: Journalism. Given all the strange
events that have taken place in Hawkins and the proximity of the series leads to all of
them, We’ll see if Fred does more harm than good once he starts digging around.
Some fans speculate that Fred is the mysterious shadowy 몭gure walking to this car
since the person does not match the stature of other suspects like Will Bayer and Peter
Ballard. And looking at Bruner, he does look the part of this mysterious person. Here’s
hoping that all of these new characters don’t steal too much attention from our iconic
favorites. Overall, very exciting times. And that is all that we have for today.
Angela and Jake: Lenora Hills High School’s power couple, Angela and Jake looked
destined to cause issues for Will Byers and Eleven. Angela is the classic queen bee who
destined to cause issues for Will Byers and Eleven. Angela is the classic queen bee who
bullies and belittles everyone who isn’t on her level. Her boyfriend is most likely one of
them. Jake, who isn’t going to be on the same intellectual level as many others, but isn’t
scared to show them how tough he is. Elodie Grace Orkin and Logan Allen, who were
both seen in the fourth teaser published in November, will portray them.
Vickie, The unapproachable look of the traditional alt girl betrays her light-
heartedness. Vickie is a stylish, fast-talking band nerd who attracts one of our favorite
heroes’ attention. Amybeth McNulty will portray her, and according to her o몭cial
character pro몭le, she may become an ally to the group as the season progresses.
Jason Carver: The rich preppy jock whose mouth never quite stops, Jason is the man we
all assumed Steve was going to be before we all fell in love with him. Carver seemed to
have it all. He is attractive, wealthy, a professional athlete, and he is dating the most
attractive girl in school. Hawkins’ ideal world begins to crumble as a new evil
approaches him.
Chrissy is Jason’s girlfriend and Hawkins High’s top cheerleader. She is also the most
popular girl in school. She appears to be your normal very popular cheerleader at 몭rst
look, but deeper scrutiny reveals that she is hiding a deep seated darkness as a result of
her mother’s mental abuse. In the same manner that Angela and Jake are both Lenora
Hills, Jason and Chrissy appear to be Hawkins High’s power couple. Mason Dye will
portray Janson, while Grace Van Dien will portray Chrissy, both in recurring roles.
Patrick: A Hawkins High basketball standout with friends, skill, and a happy life, his life
Patrick: A Hawkins High basketball standout with friends, skill, and a happy life, his life
spirals out of control after a series of unexpected occurrences. Myles Truitt, who is good
friends with Caleb McLaughlin in real life, will play him. Patrick will become friends
with Lucas, according to Truitt, who is almost certain to be on Patrick’s Hawkins High
boys basketball team, which is coached by Jason Carver.
Mrs. Kelly is a well-liked guidance counselor who genuinely cares about her students,
speci몭cally those who are having the greatest di몭culty. Mrs. Kelly will be played by
Regina Ting Chen, who is also a newcomer to Hawkins High, so she may not be aware
of all the craziness. She is, however, a sweet and compassionate lady who wears her
heart on her sleeve and is always looking out for her kids’ best interests.
Dmitri: Dmitri, one of the two Russian characters, will play a major role in season four.
Hopper befriends him, a Russian jail guard. Dmitri is smart, intelligent, and attractive.
Tom Wlaschiha, a German actor, is playing him. The casting directors were looking for
someone who could speak Russian and English 몭uently. As a result, we can certainly
anticipate Dmitri to engage with Hopper on a regular basis.
Yuri: A shady Russian smuggler who enjoys stupid jokes, hard cash, and crunchy
peanut butter. Yuri’s unpredictable conduct is contradicted by his conviction that he is
two steps ahead of everyone else. The studio, like Dmitri, was keen that the actor be
able to communicate in both Russian and English. Nikola Djuricko, a Serbian actor, will
play Yuri.
Lieutenant Colonel Sullivan: A military lifer of the nonsense variety, Sullivan is
intimidating and brilliant, believing that he can brute force this path to success in any
given circumstance. He feels he knows how to 몭nally put an end to the evil in Hawkins.
Victor Creel will be played by Robert Englund, who is well known for his portrayal as
Freddy Krueger in A Nightmare on Elm Street. He is a frightening and terrifying guy
who is now incarcerated in Pennhurst Mental Hospital for a heinous crime committed
in the 1950s. While Englund will portray an older Creel in 1986, Kevin L. Johnson will
portray his younger self, as shown in the third teaser released at Tudum. On March 26,
1959, he allegedly murdered his own family at the abandoned Creel House, which our
Hawkins group will discover 29 years later in the fourth season.
How many seasons will Stranger Things have?
How many seasons will Stranger Things have?
Stranger Things season 5 is also in the works, as we recently heard. The Du몭er brothers
stated in a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter that Stranger Things season
4 will not be the 몭nal season of the Net몭ix series, implying that Stranger Things season
5 is on the way.
The Du몭er brothers stated in an interview early on in the run that the show would last
for 4 or 5 seasons, but it’s questionable if that plan has altered since the program signed
an exclusive agreement with Net몭ix.
Numerous Stranger Things lovers have been asking this question. At this time, it’s
uncertain.
Stranger Things season 6 has a strong probability of happening, in my opinion.
There have been several speculations that Stranger Things Season 5 will be the series’
last season, but none have been proven. A recent rumor suggested that the 몭fth season
might be broken into two parts, however this has yet to be veri몭ed.
That there would be so much more tale to be told. Of course, we haven’t seen Stranger
Things Season 4, but each season appears to o몭er new doors and opportunities for the
characters. It would be a pity to conclude it without tying up all loose ends and
considering all of the possibilities.
That is primarily why I believe the show will be revived for a sixth season. After Season
5, I believe the Du몭er brothers and the production sta몭 will recognize what a great
universe they’ve built and will want to return to it at least once more.
At least, that’s what I’m aiming for. If I’m being honest, I could need at least three more
seasons of the show, and I believe most people would agree with me. Some fans may
even want for more seasons of the popular show.
With that stated, whatever the Du몭er brothers chose to do with this series, I’ll be
thrilled. It’s up to them to decide how they want the series to conclude, and I believe
Net몭ix would be pleased to accommodate their wishes.
