• Program Coordinator for End of Life Nursing Education Consortium (ELNEC)
o Implemented ELNEC Conferences across 4 acute-care hospitals and one
rehabilitation hospital to support MLHS Strategic Plan. Held 14 courses
with RN/SW continuing education credits, and 4 PCT/UC courses with over
900 staff now trained in End of Life patient care.
o Secured grant money for this project
o Winner of 2014 International ELNEC Award
o Featured in ELNEC International Quarterly Newsletter
o Capturing and sharing outcomes to show impact of education at the
bedside via nursing research
o Poster Presentation to highlight work at Centers for Advancing Palliative
Care (CAPC) Conference, 2016

Reiki, Level II Practitioner
o Provide Reiki to patients during their hospital stay
o Built team with Integrative Wellness coordinator at BMH by facilitating
Reiki Courses, assisting with data collection and process improvement,
planning with CNO to work on long-term goal of rolling out system-wide
o BMH team has grown to 40 practitioners and seeing an average of 100

o Helped to initiate second Reiki team at Riddle Memorial Hospital

o Expanded campus-based fellowship to a system level, 2016
o Developed processes and policies to execute fellowship successfully for over
40 fellows. Designed program, developed curriculum, selected candidates,
and provided contact hours for program
o Mentored a new RN to facilitate and take over the Fellowship
o Participate in workgroup to identify and facilitate educational needs across
the system
