“The best university is the university of life.” Henrique Capriles Radonski. A university molds good people for building a sustainable society. My university is Fatoni University. My university is a place of life, liberty, and of learning. First of all, my university is a place of life. It is a source of incubation of good people for the wider society. There is a Halaqoh Qur’an on Monday of each week as a reminder to exchange feelings, and together we exchange knowledge or news. At this university, Islamic teachings will be inserted into the teaching and learning to be applied in daily life. There is also a Qur'an study by reading, memorizing, interpreting the meaning of the Qur'an and applying the insights gained in daily life. In addition, my university is the university of liberty. My university gives students the opportunity to show their full potential whether it is in various competitions both on-campus and off-campus. There are activities organized for students to showcase their talents. We have freedom of speech which can be is defined as the ability for both professors and students to engage in intellectual conversation without fear of retaliation or censorship. This basically means that both parties can challenge the opinions of others without hindering those opinions. This means that the intellectual discussion can becontinued if there is no penalty for commenting. Furthermore, my university is the university of learning. There are many options for choosing the field of study you want to study. And of course, each branch will have a different distinction. My university is an open urn for students to gain knowledge and experience. There are also many facilities for learning such as a library, pavilion and Giving Space. My University as a Safe Haven Fatoni University is a private Islamic university located in the culturally rich southern region of Thailand. As I walk through the campus, I am struck by the vibrant atmosphere. Moreover, with students from all corners of the world engaged in various activities, the diversity of the university is evident. The buildings are a mix of modern and traditional styles, with intricate details that reflect the Islamic heritage. Furthermore, the lush greenery and colorful flowers dotting the landscape add to the peaceful ambiance of the university. The classrooms are equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, making learning an enjoyable experience. Additionally, the professors are knowledgeable and caring, with a passion for imparting their knowledge and skills to students. Every Monday, the students gather for group study, where they share ideas and learn from one another. It is a beautiful sight to see students coming together, united by their love for Islam and their thirst for knowledge. Furthermore, the university provides a safe and inclusive environment for all, regardless of their religion or background. 5 My English learning experience at Fatoni University
Do you think learning a language is important? Language is an important factor used in communication in everyday life. I enrolled in Fatoni University, Faculty of Education, Department of Teaching English. I made this decision because I like English and I adore this university. At first, I thought learning English would not be difficult. But when I really started learning, I found it quite difficult. There are very few basics. When I studied English with teachers for each subject, I listened carefully while the teacher was speaking and could not translate because sometimes teachers spoke quickly. Until I could not keep up. After studying for a few weeks, when the teacher asked me to work in groups for a class presentation, I felt nervous. Sometimes, I was so excited that I could not say anything. The teacher spoke about me a lot. I was not well prepared, so the teacher complained. Finally, the teacher told me to present it again in the next class. At that time, it was during the university's online study. After that incident, I could not speak English. I sat alone in the room crying because at that time I was studying online and was alone at the dormitory. All of my roommates had returned home. I could not go back because my home was far away. It was during this time that the COVID disease was spreading heavily, so I had to live in the dormitory alone. I called a friend to consult about the presentation, and I had a friend help me to tutor the language. I sat and understood, and then in my free time I sat and revised every day until the date of the presentation arrived. When it was time for my presentation, I was determined and tried to present it as well as I could. In the end, it went well. The experience of learning English at that time made me learn and understand more. Now, I have improved my English skills better than before. An educational institution is a place that can educate young people and those who want to gain knowledge, but Fatoni University is different from other places because it gives meaning to life. And the truth commanded by God. The meaning of life is to find the truth; that we were created to worship Allah and be good Muslims. And the most valuable thing is that brothers and sisters admonish each other in Halaqah filled with the warmth of Islam. If talking about the place of study, there are, of course, many places. But God has chosen me to study here. And I admit that this university has given me a lot of lessons and experiences. In addition to the knowledge and experience that I have gained is the happiness and warmth of the family in this university. It is so strange that almost all of us have never met before but we become one family. But no matter where you turn, we can feel the kindness and smiles of the people around us. I hope that good things will continue in Fatoni University and wish people to meet only good things. Since I set foot at Fatoni university, I have been touched by the kindness of people and their Islamic living. First of all, Fatoni University is a university of Islam in Thailand. The educational system of this university is coupled with Islam and science.It teaches how to live in a society in an Islamic way. It enlightens about life and how to pursue a good career. Lastly, the campus It is full of kind people. People are ready to set a good example and remind each other about their duties and responsibilities in duniya and accountabilities in akhirah. The Giving Space at Fatoni University is more than just a place to grab a cup of coffee. Rather it is a hub of activity and community. The Giving Space is a space of giving, studying and relax. It is nestled in the Fatoni University. The Giving Space is decorated with posters and banners hanging on the walls, creating a lively and energetic atmosphere. The smooth plastered brick wall when you touch it without any roughness and the large glass windows let in plenty of natural light, illuminating the space and giving it a warm and inviting feeling. The seating arrangements were diverse, with small tables for solo study, and larger tables for group work. The Giving Space is divided into three zones, a coffee shop, and a restaurant, and it is separated in the middle by a small shop. The menu was diverse, offering not only coffee but also a la carte, an appetizer menu, smoothies, and bingsoo. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee and food filled the air as you walked in, inviting you to sit down and relax. In the bustling shop, the sound of voices filled the air as people engaged in lively conversations. Customers chatted with one another, discussing their purchases and exchanging news, while shopkeepers assisted them, offering advice and recommendations. The Giving Space is always bustling with students, faculty, and staff. You could see students studying together at tables, faculty members catching up over a quick break, and staff members enjoying their meals. The Giving Space has an outdoor seating area with plenty of tables where customers can sit and feast on sweets or food while charmingly peoplewatch or watching the bustling street life at the university. The Giving Space is the perfect place to enjoy drinking and food. Whether you come alone or with friends this is a delightful spot to spend a few hours enjoying the sights and sounds of the university. The special place How often do you go to Haromain Masjid? Haromain Masjid is a special place at Fatoni University. This building is located opposite of the football field. To the right, it is close to the library and to the left, it is adjacent to the Graduate School Building. What is magnificent about the Haromain Masjid is that the huge golden dome that can be seen from a far distance. The architectural design is like the Taj Mahal Mosque. Haromain Masjid is a three-story building. The first floor is the place for males to perform prayers. We can see cream-colored walls all over the masjid, a terrazzo floor, an exotic wooden Mimbar (pulpit), and a huge chandelier from the top in the center of the Masjid. The second floor is a storage room. There is a glass room used for keeping materials and some necessary equipment for cleaning. The third floor is a place for females to pray. Beautiful black balcony railings can be noticed when you are on this floor. When viewing outside, you can see a breathtaking view, beautiful buildings, and many kinds of trees surrounding the masjid. When the time is right, we hear the nice sound of Azan, then, the men would go to Haromain Masjid for praying together. How about Fatoni University in your opinion? My first impression of Fatoni University was immense. Because it is the university that I am interested in studying here. Firstly, almost all subjects are taught in the light of Islamic. We can gain more Islamic knowledge; every year there is a Qur'an subject to study allows students to learn about the Qur'an, which is good because there is no other university in Thailand that emphasizes much on Islamic teachings. The Islamic integrated education of Fatoni University made us to see the importance of learning Islamic lessons in order to implement it in our daily lives. Secondly, the uniqueness of Fatoni University lies in the face that there are teachers from different countries teaching here, which makes me feel more excited to study and get to know friends from other provinces. Thirdly, the university has good environment, it is surrounded by trees, fresh air, and nice people. Fatoni University is a good university that I think suitable for me to study here and when I thought it, I saw it with myself it's no different from that first I thought. This is particularly beneficial for Muslim students, who can form bonds with their peers and feel a sense of community. Furthermore, the university offers a rare, family-like atmosphere where students can comfortably interact with their peers and professors. First of all, my university is my paradise. Have you ever heard that university creates a life before a career? I wake up in the morning and look at the door and window to see the sea of mist in the morning, to feel the cool air, and hear the sound of birds flying in the air, and the sound of cars at dawn breaks that welcomes us to start a new day with good things in the premise of Fatoni University. My university is my utopia it is like a small house which keeps planting seeds to grow beautifullythat is the dream of many people who want to come here to be uplifted morally and spiritually. When we looked around the campus, there are mountains surrounding the area which is exciting and impressive for the people who live here in the midst of natural beauty. The greenery of Fatoni University makes us feel at ease because this place is not in the middle of the city but in the village area close to the simple-minded people who are satisfied with their limited means. The nature of this place captivates me and makes me feel comfortable. If we walk into the university here, we will find Haramai Mosque as the center of this place. It is a very important meeting place for the students, lecturers, and visitors to perform salah together. It is very large, unique and beautiful to look at and I feel comfortable and serene while being inside the mosque.The university premise is very warm. Students and academic staffs get together as one as if they were brothers and sisters in the same family because there is a good role model that we know, that is "Abi", who is an example of both a beautiful life and manners. Besides, the atmosphere in the campus in the evening is as good as in the morning. In the afternoon, there are many people coming to the university from the nearby places. Because the university is closely connected to the community and the atmosphere in the evening is very romantic. It's a time to relax and enjoy the beautiful, vast, and bright sky. Many people do exercises and some of them sit near the river side and enjoy their leisure . It’s very chilling for me to sit by the pool because it relieves my stress. When the semester is going on, the surrounding is lively comparing to the time during the semester break or long holidays, while it seems barren. The smell of the campus air is a good boost to my inner strength. In the end, Fatoni University is a place to feel safe and well. Not only the environment here is good but this place teaches us to be good people. and one whom Allah loves a one who loves Allah in the right way. What we think is inappropriate for us, indeed, it is a predetermined thing. My thoughts changed like “the boot (shoe) is on the other foot” when my feet stepped into this university. Before my feet step into Fatoni University’s boundary, I think that Fatoni University is unpopular and I’m not the only one who thinks like this. Many people also think like me. People often ask a lot of questions about this university like: “How good is it there? Didn’t you see that people who graduated from Fatoni University lost their jobs?” etc. All these negative thoughts made me not want to study at Fatoni University till I failed the entrance exam for the other university I was interested to study. After that, my father advised me to study at Fatoni University. At the same time, I felt sad, because I was disappointed with the results of my test scores. I readily accepted my father’s advice because I didn’t have backup plans. When that day came and the very moment my feet stepped into the premise of Fatoni University, I had a deep feeling in my heart that I was so fortunate that I could stand at this university. I felt peaceful and comfortable. It was a sensation of real happiness. Happiness that couldn’t be explained, I just said the words, “Alhamdulillah, thank you, Allah”. I discovered that everything the other people said was not true because I could feel this university is of very high quality. Many teachers talked about how to become successful in life and seniors helped to increase the level of my confidence little by little. All these made me feel that I made the right choice to study here. In the period thereafter I was happy to study at Fatoni University. This university made me remember Allah. This university made me love the Qur'an. This university has taught me to make positive changes. This university made me proud to be a Muslim. The best thing that I found about this university is that it builds a good life before pursuing a good career. It is therefore the first step for someone who rarely goes out unless necessary. The first step in university for me was to start a life away from my family, to meet people from new societies. And it was a step that had many feelings for me. The first feeling that came to me was sadness. Because I was a very home-loving person. I didn't want to go far from home at all. The second feeling was excitement because for the first time, I would be alone without the people I knew. And the last feeling was happiness because my first step in college allowed me to meet new friends, and visit new places, experience learning with foreign teachers, and live without my family nearby. When talking about Fatoni University, it's important to note that it is a university with a predominantly Islamic society and environment, where many Muslims live. Furthermore, the university is surrounded by natural, clean, and livable mountains. Additionally, there is a mosque on campus where students and staff can pray, and the azan can be heard five times a day. The university has a dress code that follows Islamic principles and honors the educational institution. For women, the uniform consists of a long, dark green skirt that reaches their feet and a white cloak that covers their fingers. People often compliment each other on their attire when going anywhere on campus. Students wear a university pin attached to the right side of their clothing and a blue student neck badge. In the men's section, the uniform consists of dark green trousers and a long-sleeved white shirt. The men's shirt is dark green on the right side, and they also wear a blue student card on their neck. My first impression at Fatoni University The first impression that I had at Fatoni University was meeting my seniors and friends who were very kind and made me feel happy to study or do activity. My eyes wondered around Fatoni University and it was full of Islamic values and principles. It has a beautiful mosque called Masjid Haromain and many buildings facilitate various faculties. For me, the colorful school building that I saw was the Faculty of Education, There was a existence that separated men and women. Azan sound was clearly heard and I had to recapture my mind to Allah every time. While walking around the canteen area of the university, I could smell the aroma of different types of food. It made me hungry and I ordered food from Giving Space and it was so delicious; it had a complete taste, salty, sweet and mellow. After a while, I returned to the dormitory and touched the things there such as cabinets, drawers, balcony doors. All the things were very dusty and I cleaned. In the end, I thanked my seniors and friends for making me fall in love with Fatoni University with all my heart and I was happy every day in school, Alhumdulillah. 29 Hasbah Awae

My first time going to university makes me I'm excited about studying in a new place. I want to find new experiences of life in the beautiful atmosphere of Fatoni University. There are a lot of people who greet me in the campus and there is a kind person who shows me the way because it is the first time coming and people are ready to help While exploring the campus happily, what I'm only worried about is living together in a dormitory because I am an introvert person and don't talk much. I am anxious about making new friends, but I also try to change myself to learn how to survive alone without the presence of my parents and siblings. And what amaze me are the interesting events organized by our seniors to welcome us to Fatoni University. I am very much impressed to see that people in unity helping each other in doing activities. I have learned many things that a can be used in daily life. While listening to the motivational speeches of the teachers and seniors, I feel more interested in learning. Fatoni University's activities are especially. Formulated to develop the thinking skills and creativity of the students. My university in reality Fatoni University This university is the best university I have ever met. I aspire to say that the Islamic education and moral teachings of this university could lead me to the way of Jannah, that will take me to your paradise Insha’Allah. To begin with, this university is the only higher educational institution that Fatoni University which my parents had hoped for me to study since my childhood for me to study here. Since childhood, As far as I could recall, my parents have always toldused to tell me that this university has very good governance, good leaders, and good education, and the education system has always been integrated with inserted into our religion Islam. Even if we study in general subjects, the teachers here always teach and teach us about Islamic principles. There is Halaqah(study circle) Island on every Monday as a reminder of our duties and responsibilities as vicegerent (khalifa) of Allah (swt)and we can also share our personal matters i.e., our worries and agonies to abstain from these tensions in order to live a peaceful happy life in this world. There is a lecture activity in every week. Everything is covered with Islamic teachings. I like the atmosphere in this university premise. All the students regardless of locals and internationals cheerfully share their thoughts and they are able to know about each other’s cultural values strengthening their mutual trust and ummaticbrotherhood. Good atmosphere in Fatoni University Does the atmosphere of the day affect your feelings? Start your day with a good atmosphere in Fatoni University. Every morning after the prayers, I don't have much activity to do, most of the time I sleep until eight o'clock. It's a waste of time, time is wasted by too much of sleep, so I added a routine after praying, that is, to read the Qur'an. And keep doing this until one day I decided to open the curtains and doors after the prayer. The atmosphere is still dark and the wind is blowing gently. Then, I read the Qur'an with my back turned towards the dormitory balcony door. After I finished reading the Qur'an, I turned my back. What I saw in front of me widened my eyes. What I saw was fog outside. The building that is covered with white mist and a soft light. I sat and experience the atmosphere for a while picking up the phone, shooting the story to show off this atmosphere for friends to see. After that incident, it made me addicted to waking up early to enjoy the atmosphere on the balcony in the morning. And another reason that wakes me up in the morning like an alarm clock is the sound of the university janitor's leaf blowers. He worked so early that I had to turn to my friend and say, he started working at the same time we woke up. Great! the leaf blower wasn't annoyingly loud. But it fits the atmosphere in the morning, I don't know if other people will be annoyed. As for me, I really like it. The sound of motorcycles passing by seems to be the sound of people going out to buy breakfast. The weather is cool and suitable for driving slowly without haste. The atmosphere is so good that I want to stop time. Afternoon atmosphere in Fatoni University will be full of motorcycles that drive back and forth after school to take them back to the dormitory. And there will be students playing sports in the afternoon such as sepaktakraw, badminton and skateboarding. Many people are jogging. The atmosphere at night is perfect for sitting on the balcony and reading a book. I forgot to mention that my room is on the 2nd floor of Ibn Affan dormitory lot making it possible to see the view clearly. The higher the more beautiful scenery, it's not every day to see this kind of atmosphere depending on the weather of each day. Some days may start with raining. Some days it's very sunny from the morning but still beautiful. In the end, the atmosphere affects our feelings and what I want to recommend to friends and always tell friends to come and breathe in the atmosphere and see the beauty of Fatoni University at my dormitory. 35 Hawaree Salaeh

Fatoni University, University Jannati Does this university really attract pnbeople? This university was the starting point that made me want to change myself. I was indecisive in some matters until my brother had showed my heart with some words, so it was the beginning of my great life change that I decided to do. I'm honestly glad I made the decision to do this, because it is something that will bring us closer to Allah. The first thing that I looked at this university's dress, it made me feel strange. There is no place in my country where university students dressed like this, so it made me like the uniform here because it covers the body according to the law of Allah. I am very happy as the university has a good atmosphere. There are trees to sit and relax. Get the wind and see the view comfortably. There is a pavilion to sit and relax in the campus and the most impressive is the Haramai Mosque. Whenever you looked, you could see a golden dome; it makes me happier than anywhere else. In this university, many people think that studying here is like a pondok student, but no one knows that this university has a motto of building a life before a career. Before we can teach others, we must know how to create people. Build yourself, then follow up with a career. This university therefore teaches along with religion. The feeling since I got is very warm and lovely . It made me to fall in love with the university . It's like no other. I always thought if I had studied somewhere else what my impression would be about Fatoni University. Because this is the best place for me. People here help each other. Even if they cannot help much because of their poor financial condition but they are very supportive, give advice and help mentally emotionally by sending a smile. It's very good. People here are good people, rarely see problems like people at my house. I hope someday if I have enough knowledge, I'm going to spread the word to people in the village. Do you know why I call my university “Green University?” It is because of its beautiful location surrounded by nature and fresh air. Firstly, the location of this university was built far from the city, which means far from the chaos of people and noise from various vehicles. Moreover, if we are talking about a place that is far from the city it is a place that is full of nature, forests, and mountains; like this university was built among the mountains. Secondly, we can see that nature is a wall or protection of the university. We don't need to build the walls higher to be the defense of the university. Because it is just surrounded by mountains, we can feel safe there. Thirdly, this university is so full of trees, flowers, and grass that we don’t need to water it because there are rivers flowing all the time. Fourthly, near the river there is a pavilion for students who want to relax and breathe in the fresh air. Other places where we can get fresh air, the football fields, wooden sheds near Wannor Building, open space adjacent to the library, and FTU Food Court because every place is full of plants that can circulate fresh air. Lastly, for those who like to exercise, we can do it anywhere we like because there is a spacious area suitable for various forms of exercises. 42 We have many universities to choose from, but why do we choose this university? because Fatoni University is a university that offers everything. It is a university that gives unity. It’s a university that gives warmth, knowledge, and potential. First of all, it is a university that gives warmth. The place that gives warmth is the mosque or as we call it Haramine. Baan tae-or Have you ever been to BaanTae-or ? It is a cafe within a suitable environment at Fatoni University. This cafe is located in FTU food canteen, just opposite of Haramai Mosque. The manager of this shop is a university student. To earn extra money in your spare time, you can follow the example of this young entrepreneur. This coffee shop is opened from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The atmosphere around the shop is very pleasant , especially, in the evening we can have coffee or any other beverages along with watching the sunset and can take pictures as well. The scenario at night is very refreshing as in the evening. And there is also a charming decoration around the shop with colorful lights for brightness and beauty. Most of the nights there are a lot of customers. There are customers within the university and outside of the university who come to support. Baan tae-or is selling very well. Because there are drinks, coffee, and a variety of beverages . I always order a latte every time. Because the taste is so good, and the price is reasonable too. And there are also appetizers such as French fries, cheese fries, chicken nuggets, and many more. Around there are other shops that are open for services. There is a huge variety of food and it’s not easy to choose your snacks and drink. In conclusion, Baan Toh Or is a coffee shop with a good atmosphere and delicious coffee is served there.
