Summer Internship Health
and Safety Induction

Introduction

 It is the responsibility of an organization to ensure the health

and safety of all peoples affected by their processes (staff,
trainees, visitors, etc.).

 As an intern, you must:

 take care of your own Health and Safety
and that of others,

 follow the correct procedures (and use
protective equipment provided) for
securing safety in the workplace,

 report accidents or incidents that have,
or could have, led to injury or damage,

 report any shortcomings in the Health
and Safety arrangements to your line
manager/supervisor.
