Who We Are

?

Anwari Islamic Centre, Mangalagiri, is a non-profit tax-exempt organization
that has been formed exclusively for educational, religious, and social
purposes. It is registered with the Registrar of Societies, Guntur, Andhra
Pradesh, India.

All of its activities are in accordance with the teachings of the Quran and
following the teachings and traditions of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH)

AICM is a multi-ethnic, multi-racial, multi-lingual, non-sectarian, diverse,
and open community committed to full and equal participation and
involvement of men and women who are community members of AICM
subscribe to accept its rules, regulations, and procedures.

Vision
Our vision is to establish AICM as a multi-ethnic and vibrant Islamic centre that caters
to the religious, educational, and social needs of the communities of Mangalagiri,
Andhra Pradesh
Mission
Our Mission is “Be Inspired, Live Islam”.
Anwari Islamic Centre of Mangalagiri (AICM) strives to practice and present Islam by
providing religious, educational and social activities for the local community. Our
goal is to develop and promote a socially responsible Indian-Muslim identity. We
support worthwhile social, educational and economic causes that help make a
difference in people's lives and promote the well being of families and individuals.
The fundamental objective of AICM is to seek Glory of Allah swt, our beloved Prophet
Muhammed (PBUH), the Quran and Sunnah. To contribute peacefully and

Masjid - e - Anwari

Anwari Mosque is open every day of the year for people to use prayer facilities,
including all five daily prayers, and the special prayers for Eid. The prayer halls are
accessible from fajr and close about half an hour after the last prayer of the day, 'Isha.
Congregational Prayers
We hold congregational prayers at specific times, which you can find in our prayer
timetable. There's a more detailed explanation of our prayer times here. These
prayers typically take 10–15 minutes.
Friday Salah
On Fridays, the special Jumuah prayer (which replaces the Zuhr prayer) is preceded
by a sermon (khutbah), which takes about half an hour. The sermon starts at about
1:00 pm.
EID Congregational Prayers
EID Congregational Prayers (Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-ul-Adha) are held for both men and
women in separate halls.

Facilities

There are separate prayer facilities for men and women: men pray in the first floor
hall, and women in the second floor hall accessed through separate entrance.
All areas are served by modern separate ablutions facilities for men and women.
There is wheel chair and lift access to the Prayer Hall throughout for senior citizens.
Our halls in the building have screens showing the sermon.
There is a kids zone for children to play and learn.
Live Streaming
All our congregational prayers, including the Friday sermons, and additional talks
from the main prayer hall, will be available on our website and social media. There is
also a live video streaming from our Media Centre.

Musab Centre for Dawah

Musab Centre for Dawah is a place open to all irrespective of caste and gender who
wish to learn more about Islam.
Special emphasis and information desk is available at our centre for those who wish
to seek the truth about Islam, and who wish to understand this beautiful religion and
its principles in greater depth. The centre is not intended to contest with other
religions or faiths, nor is it designed to challenge the beliefs of others. Our only aim is
to provide clear and accurate knowledge, based on solid facts and evidence. Any
reader can benefit from our centre library, information technology desk or from our
centre head. However it is aimed particularly at Non-Muslims interested in learning
about Islam as well as those new to the faith who wish to embark on their journey
through the religion.
Here one will find information on the basic aspects of Islam, as well as a brief history
of the faith. In addition, those areas of Islam which are often misunderstood or
misrepresented, such as Islam's views on contemporary issues are also covered.

Hazrath Ayesha Siddiqa (RA)
Islamic College

The Alimiyyah Degree programme is a 4 year Day Scholar Course (dependent on the
prior level of Arabic, Islamic studies and Normal School Education).

It is designed to develop critical thinking and a deep understanding of the primary
sources of Islam, empowering students to bring them to an understanding on
contemporary issues of the society. To deliver this course we have an expert academic
head, alongside a range of teachers who have excelled both at Islamic institutions of
learning and in mainstream university education.

We recognise that many students intend to study Islamic Sciences but are unable to
commit to several years of full time education. The Alimiyyah Degree programme
has been designed with this in mind; through 4 years of intensive study students will
be equipped with the tools necessary to become an Islamic scholar, or 'Alima'.
Through this we hope to develop Scholars who are active in various roles in society:
professionals, academics, business-people, community activists and many more.

We also offer short term programmes of 1 and 2 years where the students go through
a fast track course.

Hazrath Affan RA Qur’an College

Students are taught the method of memorize the Quran with proper Tajweed. Special
emphasis is placed on reinforcing the rules of Tajweed during memorization. Periodic
testing of the memorized portion of the Quran is done after each section (juz) of the
Quran, which the student is required to pass in order to move forward.
This course is designed to cater for each individual student according to his
capabilities and potential. The syllabus has been prepared in a manner that will
enable each student to memorize the entire Qur'an and retain it by completing a one
year revision (daur) of the entire Quran.
Applicants who are enrolled here will gain a systematic approach to complete their
Hifz and also get an opportunity to learn the basic Islamic sciences, such as Hadith
memorization, Masnun Duaa and Jurisprudence (fiqh).
Upon the complete memorization of the Holy Qur'an, students will be awarded the
prestigious certificate of “Hafiz al-Qur'an”

for Women Empowerment

At Hunar, we transform shy, uneducated women into empowered individuals through
training and development programmes.
For centuries, women have been suppressed, denied opportunities and the
recognition they deserve. It has taken innumerable efforts by several people,
remembered and forgotten, to bring women to where they have reached today.
Although much progress has been made, it is undeniable that women in India still
have a long way to come in terms of empowerment.
At Hunar, we have strong faith in the innate power of every woman. We believe that,
with the right thrust, this power within her can be unleashed for the betterment of the
society. This is what brings us to our work with women in the poorest, most backward
communities in and around Mangalagiri, especially those who have faced
economic, social and cultural exploitation.

for Counselling

Al-Irshaad Centre for Counselling focuses on misunderstanding problems,
suspiciousness, unemployment, depression, love affair, extra marital affair, pre-
marital problem, dowry problem etc. The family counselling centre help the
individual for an enhanced level of functioning when they are unable to cope with the
problem brought in by these changes. Our family counselling centre aims at
reducing the problems and crisis, strengthening family coping skills, effecting
positive changes in the attitude, improvement in life style, providing timely
counselling and support to lead a qualitative life style.

Al-Farooq Centre for Citizens is a humble step towards creating awareness about the
government and private schemes. AFCC will a one-stop centre for all
Government/Private welfare scheme related guidance and assistance.
The Aims and Objectives of the centre are:
ü To develop a database of all Government & other Private Schemes available in

India.
ü To convert the information released with respect to the schemes into a simplified

format which can be understood by common man.
ü To incorporate all means to disseminate the refined information along with

documentation support. through website and call centre.
ü To guide, assist to apply & avail the schemes both through electronic means and

on the field.
ü To strive for accountability in government departments with respect to the welfare

programmes and act a pressure group to do the same.
ü To strive for utilising the complete funds allocated for welfare projects from the

Asma (RA) Centre for Media

Asma (RA) Media Centre provides our students much deeper learning experiences.
With the constant digital stimulation around us, facilities of Media Centre will
enhance Learning and Dawah work in the community. AMC is available for our
students to develop their own audio and video programmes based on their
curriculum and present it to others by broadcasting it on social media networks.
AMC students learn actively, engage in hands-on projects in the classroom, and
produce interactive videos to document and present their learning. The pre-
production work involves research, planning, writing, filming and editing. Students
work in teams and collaborate within and outside their classrooms.

Designed as a multi-purpose facility for a congregation and its community, this in
addition to an existing salah halls provides much needed space for studies,

Olive Centre for Kids

While parents observe prayers Kids Zone is a area where their children can either
play here or accompany their parents during the prayer. AIC is a child friendly space
and children make new friends here and play together.
Children can collaborate in small groups and experience activities, interaction and
any other planned activities. Here in we have educational games, arts/crafts and
story sacks. We feel its very important for children to experience small group work as
well as individual and large group work, so this quiet extension gives the children
every opportunity.
