Warm Up

-Two laps around the gym (full court)

-Arm stretches

● Left arm across chest
● Right arm across chest
● Left arm behind head
● Right arm behind head

-Leg Stretches

● Stretch down (feet together)
● Stretch down ( right leg)
● Stretch down (left leg)
● Stretch down (the middle, feet apart)

Ninja

Instructions:Class will stand around in a circle and one person with then try to tap the person
next to them. If they miss that person they have to stay frozen in the position that you are in
after trying. Then the next person will try to do the same thing to the next person and it will
continue around the circle until somebody gets tag or somebody moves. Then the circle will
continue to get smaller until there is one person standing.

Telephone

Instructions: Class will stand around in a circle and one person will think of a sentence or phrase
and pass it along. Each student is to repeat what they think they just heard to the next student.
They can only tell them once what they think was said. When it finally gets to the last person,
they will say what they heard out loud and hope it matches with what the first person said.

Marco Polo

Instructions: One person will be chosen to be marco while everybody else is going to be polo.
Marco is to close their eyes and say out loud “Marco”. The rest of the students are supposed to
say “polo” no matter how close they are to marco. Marco has to try and tagout the people when
they say polo.

Red Light, Green Lights

Instructions: One student will be the person to say red light, green light in the middle. Then the
rest of the students will split into two groups. One team will go on one side while the other goes
on the other side. They both have to try to cross to the other side when the person in the middle
say green light or stop when they say red light. Whoever gets all of their players to the other
side wins.

Down By the River

Instructions: Students will stand or sit around in a circle and put one hand under somebody else
had and the other hand on top. One person will start off the game by taking their hand and
hitting the other person's hands and they will all say “ down by the river with the hanky panky
where the bullfrog jumps from hanky panky i said a,e, i , o, u bam boom” and whoever hands get
hits last is out.

Concentration

Instructions: Students will stand in a line and the first person will give a topic of what name,
places, or things to say. After the first person says one thing the list has to keep going under
whatever topic they give and if you hesitate then you are out of the game.

Little Miss Sally Walker

instructions:Everyone will get in a circle and while one person stands in the middle and walks
around in circle while everybody else starts saying “ little miss sally walker walking down the
street, she did not know what to do so she stopped in front of me” Then that person will stop in
front of whoever they want and start dancing and then they will switch and the the other person
will dance while they do this everybody is saying “ hey girl do your thing do your thing switch”
twice and then that person is now in the middle and it continues until everybody has had a turn.

Human Knot

Instructions: Students will all gather in a circle and grab somebody's hand that is not next to
them all around. They then have to try unknot themselves to get set free.

Head Up Seven Up

Instructions: There will be three people to be the person that will tag somebody that has their
eyes closed sitting on the floor.Students will sit on the floor and close their eyes while holding
one thumb up. Those three students will then go around and touch three people's thumbs and
when everybody pens their eyes whoever felt somebody touch they thumb has to guess which
person tagged them. If they guess right the person that tagged them is out and they become the
knew person.

Leapf rog

Instructions: Students will line up in a line while the first person in line is bent down and
everybody will jump over them until the last person is over THat person will then stay bent over
and everybody will jump over them and it continues on.

Time Requirement: 5min.-10min.

Numbers

Instructions: Students will be divided into two teams and one player from each team will come
up and say “ side slide slippery slide, slide one etc.” They will slide each others hands and then
clap both right hands hit then both left hands hit then the back of their hands then the front of
their hands and repeat but keep going up each time with how many claps they do.
Equipment: None

Larry, Curly , Moe

Instructions: Students will be in group of three and each group will will have a different name
,larry, curly or moe. They will all then sit down with their backs against each other while one
person will yell out a name and whoever has that name has to run the either side of the courts
and back to the middle. Whoever is last will be out and will become the new person to call out
name.
