Hi, I’m Cally and when I am happy, I smile
and feel great, and know I can do

anything I want to do!

But when I’m scared, cross or
upset, I feel really blue, like this.

Do you sometimes feel

• Scared?
• Cross ? or
• Upset?

Well I’m going to show you, an easy fun
way to help you feel great
whenever you get any scared, cross or
upset feelings. It’s called EFT and if you
copy everything I show you in this book,
you will soon know exactly how to stop
yourself feeling scared, cross or upset
and be happy and cheerful just like me.

All you have to do is …...
• Tap some cool kid spots on your

head and body.
• Say what is making you feel blue.
• Remember that you are a really

great kid.

It’s easy peasy,
and it’s great fun too.

OK here we go, Look at all the
purple spots on the picture of me when
I feel blue . These are your cool kid
spots. Can you find each spot and gently
tap on it? Don’t tap too hard and hurt
yourself though.

Start at your Special spot (1) ,then go up to
the top of your head (2) and all the way down
to your karate chop (9).

Did you find all your cool kid spots? Well
done. Gosh, you are so good at this.
Okay, now that you know where all your
cool kid spots are, think of something
that makes you feel scared, cross or
upset? Are you ready?...Here we go...

Have you thought of something that
makes you feel blue like me?
Something that makes you feel scared,
cross or upset? It might be: “I don’t
like staying in my own bed at night, it
feels lonely” or “I don’t like maths, I’m
not good at sums”.

OK, now, think of how scared, cross or

upset this makes you feel. Does it make
you feel just a tiny bit scared, cross or

upset, or a great BIG bit? Point to the

picture on the SUDs card that looks most
like how BIG your upset is………………...

Point to the picture that shows how big your

feeling of scared, cross or upset is?

Great BIG bit

Did you point to how tiny or BIG your
scared, cross or upset feeling is? Are you
ready to tap with me? Good, start by
tapping your special spot and say what is
making you feel scared, cross or upset,
then say “But I’m a really great kid”
Remember, don’t tap too hard and hurt
yourself.

Special Spot

That’s it, keep tapping your special spot
and saying “I feel…………..but I’m a really
great kid”. say this three times, as you
are tapping your special spot.

Well done. Now you are going to tap on
all of your other cool kid spots. Tap each
cool kid spot about 7 times, and as you
tap each spot, say what is making you feel
scared, cross or upset.

Start at the top of your head and tap all
the way down to your karate chop. That’s
right. Remember to say what is making
you feel scared, cross or upset as you tap
each cool kid spot. If you can’t
remember where to tap, look at Cally’s
cool kid spot cards or chart as you go.

Have you tapped on all your cool kid spots
and said what is making you feel scared,
cross or upset? That’s great, now tap the
top of your head again and say: “I
feel…………………, but I’m a really great kid”

All done? Okay, now stop tapping and
take a big breath in and out. That’s it,
breathe in and breathe out. Wow, that is
cool isn’t it? Can you point to the picture
on the SUDs card that looks like how you
feel now you have finished tapping ? If
you point to 0 & me, Cheerful Cally, you
can stop Tapping.

Point to the picture that shows how big your
feeling of scared, cross or upset is now you

have tapped?

Great BIG bit

But if you didn’t pick cheerful Cally and
you still feel a little scared, cross or
upset and blue like me, just tap all over
again and tap until it has ALL gone away.
Remember to say what is making you feel
scared, cross or upset and that you are a
really great kid, as you tap again.

You are such a great kid. I bet you feel
really good now you have finished tapping
don’t you? Don’t you just love this EFT
and tapping? It’s really cool isn’t it?
Remember to use EFT and tap anytime
you feel at all scared, cross or upset.
