Hey! Its me Garfield , I
took a break from Eating
to let you know
something very important
am going to share some
online safety tips with
you!
NOW WHEN YOU ARE ONLINE KEEP
YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION TO
YOURSELF
INFORMATION LIKE YOUR FULL
NAME,MOBILE NUMBER, HOME
ADDRESS “Now we don’t want bad
guys locating us right?”
NEVER RESPOND TO
THREATENING OR
SUSPICIOUS TEXT MESSAGES
AND EMAILS KEEP A COPY
AND REPORT IMMEDIATELY
RULE #3 WATCH WHAT YOU POST
ONLINE BECAUSE EVERY
THING YOU POST ONLINE
YOU CAN NEVER TAKE IT
BACK. Think carefully about
what you say before you
post something online
GOOD MANNERS SHOULD BE
EXTENDED TO YOUR ONLINE
BEHAVIOUR
IF YOU WOUND’T SAY IT IN
REAL LIFE DON’T SAY IT ONLINE
Don’t share photos of yourself with anyone you
don’t know. Don’t share provocative photos of
yourself or friends – once they are ‘out there’
you cannot control who sees them. If someone
makes you uncomfortable by asking for photos
or asking you what you look like or personal
questions, tell your parents, the police.
Don’t meet up with people
you’ve met online. Speak to
your parent or guardian about
people suggesting you do
If you see something online that
makes you feel uncomfortable,
unsafe or worried: leave the
website, turn off your computer if
you want to and tell a trusted adult
immediately.
Respect other people’s
views, even if you don’t
agree with someone
else’s views doesn’t mean
you need to be rude
Check with your
parents before
downloading or
installing software or
doing anything that
could possibly hurt our
computer or mobile
device or jeopardize
my family’s
privacy……OKAY
Be a good online citizen and
not do anything that hurts
other people or is against the
law
