DIVING IN MENORCA
Diving in Menorca might be classed as a somewhat culinary experience, as Menorca underwater is like a bit of a Swiss Cheese. Plenty of caverns, caves, tunnels as well as small crevices for all sorts of critters to hide can be found on every dive. In and around S´Algar, there are around twenty different dive sites to offer, all within a protected marine reserve environment.
Most dive sites are accessible to all levels of diver, with the best depth usually being between 10 and 25 metres for visibility and marine life encounters. Beginners and experienced divers alike will find places to explore.
On your dives, you will see Red Lobsters, Grouper, Bream, Conger Eels, Moray Eels, Barracuda, Rainbow Wrasse, Peacock Wrasse, Scorpionfish, Painted Comber, Lizardfish, Cardinalfish, Amberjack, Sepia, and Octopus. And for photographers, both macro and wide-angle opportunities are plentiful.
In a nutshell, Menorca offers easy and varied diving, with plenty to see - what a dive trip to Menorca is really all about is the quintessential village harbour life with street and waterfront eateries offering fresh seafood, beers a-plenty and even romance! For groups of divers where apres-dive socialising is key, Menorca really delivers.

Los Naranjos apartments are just minutes away from the seafront, and right in the heart of the small town - close to restaurants and bars, and everything that S’Algar has to offer. Each perfectly appointed apartment has two bedrooms, a brand new kitchen, and a separate bathroom, and either a balcony or terrace.Each unit is fitted with complimentary wireless internet, LCD flat panel TV and cable. Guests also benefit from 24 hour front desk assistance and housekeeping.
