SOUTHERN RED SEA - EXPLORER
This itinerary is unique to say the least, and delivers something for everyone. Wrecks, reefs, walls, and big stuff!
It all starts from Marsa Alam, and the check dive is immediately looking for the residents at Dolphin House before heading South to the Fury Shoals. Here, the first of the wrecks, the Old Barge, appears on the itinerary, and expect plentiful resident marine life. The surrounding reefs deliver the goods for critter hunters and macro photographers, and then it is off to Zabargad to dive the super secret Russian Spy shipwreck! Zabargad offers unprecedented reefs where coral and marine life are in healthy abundance, and the caverns are just spectacular. Rocky Island, the next stop on this tour, has amazing wall dives, and is probably the hottest spot for shark and dolphin encounters in the Red Sea.
And then it is time to head to the North - Was Banas delivers the SS Turbo wreck, an intact tanker that is a truly special dive, followed by the wreck of a trawler at the lighthouse, and then the colourful Hamata.
The final stop own the tour is how to end a trip on a big bang - it is Elphinstone, the legendary offshore reef and home of the Oceanic white-tip shark and some of the most amazing wall diving there is.
Six days of diving will top up your logbooks nicely before it is time to head back to Marsa and then the choice to spend the last night on board or at Roots (if departing Hurghada) is available.

M/Y HERO
Hero is a comfortable steel liveaboard built in 2018. The boat is fully equipped and spacious and the service is characterised by personal attention and away from the crowds..
The 12 spacious cabins can accommodate up to 24 guests. There are two junior suite cabins with double beds and the remaining cabins have twin beds. They are all equipped with air conditioning, fridge, private bathroom with shower and toilet. In addition, towels are available for each guest.
Staying on board Hero is based on soft all inclusive. The tasteful and varied meals are usually served in buffet style. Non alcoholic beverages are also included. If you have any diet or special wishes, please provide this when booking, the crew can take this into account.
On the sundeck you can relax in the sun, but there are also shaded areas. The rear upper deck has a comfortable shaded area. On the main deck there is a spacious diving deck with diving platform with a designated space for each diver throughout the trip. Inside the saloon offers a seating area, bar and dining area with buffet.

At Roots there are 20 Deluxe Chalets, all sleeping two people in comfort. Air con, satellite tv, fridge and ensuite shower rooms. 12 Eco Huts are popular with groups providing simple accommodation at a very reasonable price. Meals are served in either the restaurant or at the beach. Sun loungers are available at the beach and the pool and spa just steps away from your room.
