About Us MISSION ALERT’s mission is to provide assistance to states in establishing effective and defensible standards for training of law enforcement officers in the field of emergency vehicle operations. Dedicated to the encouragement and correlation of research and development, ALERT is composed of Training Commanders and EVO Instructors from law enforcement agencies from all fifty states, as well as ten Canadian Provinces.
