PERSONAL SPACE WITH FIONA RENE

PERSONAL SPACE WITH FIONA RENE

PERSONAL SPACE WITH FIONA RENE

A New Kind of Talk Show that explores anything and everything
"Human."

Fiona dives face first into the absurdity of our "private" lives
and how EVERY SINGLE PERSON has a story to tell.. Stories that
would absolutely ruin us if they ever got out, at least we THINK
they would. BUT WHY?! These are the moments that typically help
define our individual character and personality. Using all areas
of her home as a backdrop, mixing the vibes of Mr. Roger's
Neighborhood, Pee-Wee's Playhouse, and The Graham Norton Show,
Fiona gets deep with some colorful characters, friends, celebrity
guests, and most importantly the audience; opening them up and
connecting them by not being afraid to reveal her own ridiculous
past/present and always choosing to learn through wonder instead
of expectation, intrigue instead of judgment, and bravery instead
of fear.
"I saved my spit in a water bottle for a week once, y'know, to see what would happen..

Real artsy shit. Then forgot, of course, and drank it."

How THIS SHOW is DIFFERENT:
GUESTS: Our guests provide a crucial element in our effort to
reveal just how relatable we ALL are, even with our vast
differences. Fiona leverages her unique ability to explore the
deeply personal side of two guests from very different worlds;
the religious and the non-religious, the "haves" and the "have
not's", and famous and the not-so-famous. She masterfully becomes
the conduit between the two worlds, finding a way to celebrate
their differences, but ultimately walking away with obvious and
reachable commonality. Guests will be given a list of "personal
topics" to choose from before their appearance. Current Celeb
Guest Reach: James Franco, Felicia Day, Aubrey Plaza, Chris
Parnell, Daniel Stern, Snoop Dogg, Tara Reid, Rob Heubel. + NON
Celeb.
SKETCHES and SEGMENTS: We've created a show where our guests,
characters, AND Fiona can fully embrace/relive/reveal the
uniqueness about THEM.
*Face your Fear: Guests attempt Fiona's Back Yard Haunted House
(where she plays the monster)
*WomanOnTheStreet: Field Segment where Fiona asks people on the
street shockingly personal and potentially risky questions. (Is
this [offensive action] inappropriate? What makes someone human?
Have you looked at your genitals in the mirror?)
*DinnerTime: Scripted Comedy sketch set at a dinner table,
focusing on a group of stereotypical characters (Family Members,
Workers in a Office, Religious, College Students, etc) together
for dinner BUT each character voices a perspective that is
UNEXPECTED from their "type."

SETTING: In a "House" not in studio, where the backdrop
acts as its own character. Each room offers a different
tone/ story/ window into an aspect of life. We want to
take people out of the studio and into the comfort of
"normal life"
*The Bedroom for sketches like "Losing it," a guest's
awkward tale of having NO IDEA what to do their "first
time."
*The Bathroom for "Pee Break," where we discuss, with or
without a Guest, any of those personal moments of
contemplation like, "should I call a doctor about that
bump or "If I pluck it, how much will I regret
it?"...all while, Fiona pees.
*The Basement for "What's Underneath?" where we explore
things that define us.....over a Fiona Rolled Joint
and/or a Bourbon.

RECURRING CHARACTERS: These characters represent the
multitude of individuality in our world but also
reinforce that everyone can connect when it comes to
having a unique experience and/or perspective...through
their humanity.
*Fiona's stoner housemate that see's himself as a
Philosopher.
*The mailman who has literally seen it all.
*The high strung neighbor and single mother of 3.

Personal Space explores who we are as humans with all
the strange tendencies that we hide from the world but
fully embrace in private… because I'll say one thing…
EVERYONE is weird, gross, funny, anxious, sloppy, and a
total goddamn disaster and THAT is why we are ALL
amazing and beautifully unique.
