Located in the impressive Civic Centre, the Temple of
Peace stands out as the Venue with a Heart. Opened
in 1938, this Grade II listed art-deco building is home
to the Welsh Centre for International Affairs and is a
symbol for Wales’ concern for international peace. All
profits generated from booking our venue with its impressive
Marble Reception and Hall support WCIA’s charitable work.
By booking with us, you will become part of its great history.

The Marble Hall

This is Cardiff’s most unique wedding venue. With a Marble Reception and Art Deco
Marble Hall boasting impressive pillars, original lighting and picturesque 34 feet windows,

it is the perfect platform to accommodate all tastes. You will have total flexibility to
customize, decorate and create the vision you’ve always dreamed of for your big day.
The Marble Hall can accommodate up to 180 guests and is available to book throughout the
year for wedding ceremonies, Civil Marriage ceremonies and receptions. Our expert venue
team will make sure your wedding is a memorable experience, with support throughout the

booking process to tailor your special day to perfection.

The Temple of Peace works with some of the city’s best culinary talents, teaming up with
outstanding caterers who follow an ethical code and deliver the finest food to meet

your needs, whether you’re looking for ‘peasant with panache’ or high-end fine dining.

using the finest local produce. You can of course use your own caterers,
however we do ask that they support sustainable catering practices.
