Christs Return

Regarding the return of Christ, Christendom inevitably falls back to Matthew 24:36 which basically
says that no man knows when Christ will return.
That is an absolute fact, but, it's NOT because its kept as a secret but rather it is based on
occurrences that signify that day. It's called the Feast of Trumpets and no one knows which day it
will occur until that day arrives. It's recognition is based on the sighting of the moon and could be
one of two days.

So, as you see, the fact is, Matthew 24:36, tells us EXACTLY when Christ will return, but mark
this: that particular return IS NOT the one at the time of Armageddon.

No indeed, to know the day Christ returns to restore all things, the day of Armageddon, is a bit
more involved then the rising of moons.  It involves confirmations based on prophecies relating to
that tremendous event.

And yes, we can certainly know when the return of Christ will take place, after all, in the Book of
Amos, God did promise to let us know before it happens.

I admonish you now that in order to understand prophecy, you should first understand God's Holy
Days as commanded in Leviticus 23:5-39, and depicted in this graphic.  It is through the Feast Days
that God reveals His entire plan of salvation for man.

Amos 3:7  Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the
prophets.

That includes the return of Christ at the time of Armageddon!

However, as I stated above, as you will see, Matthew 24:36, and the verses before it, point us to one
of Gods Feast days.

To emphasize the importance of the Feast days in relation to understanding prophecy, I will give
you a prime example.
Notice that God commands Moses to duplicate in physical form, those things found in heaven
Hebrews 8:5  Who (the High Priest) serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as
Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that
thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount.

The High Priest was to perform his duties exactly as those duties are performed in heaven.
With that in mind, look at this prophecy from the Book of Revelations:
Revelations 8:1  And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the
space of half an hour.
Revelations 8:2  And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven
trumpets.
Revelations 8:3  And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there
was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon
the golden altar which was before the throne.
Revelations 8:4  And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints,
ascended up before God out of the angel's hand.
Revelations 8:5  And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it
into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake.

Just as God commanded Moses to hold with the heavenly pattern, the physical aspects of those
duties were performed by the High Priest, once a year, on the day of Atonement. When will the
prophecy of Revelations 8:1 - 5 take place?  On the day of Atonement.
The "silence in heaven" is duplicated by the people who awaited the completion of the High Priests
duties.
They waited in silence while the High Priest performed the duties described in Revelations 8:3 - 4.

At first glance, Amos 3:7 and Matthew 24:36 seem to contradict each other, but do they?

Let's take a closer look at Matthew 24:3  And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples
came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of
thy coming, and of the end of the world?
The word "world" in that verse is translated from the Hebrew word "ahee-ohn'" which actually
means "age".  Its definition is found in Strongs Concodance G165.

One of the things the disciples wanted to know was when the "end of the world/age", would be.

Now, pay close attention to His answer starting in Matthew 16:4  A wicked and adulterous
generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given unto it, but the sign of the prophet
Jonas.
Matthew 12:40  For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the
Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

The Holy Days that represent when Christ fulfilled the sign of Jonas, are the Passover festival
days.
To be clear, from Christs own testimony, He will put an end to this age at His return at the
Passover festival days.
The festival days associated with every Passover, are known as the Days of Unleavened Bread.
Christ was murdered on Passover but His resurrection and glorification took place during the Days
of Unleavened Bread.

Now, to establish it a little more, lets take a look at the two witnesses, as they will be resurrected
and given immortality at His return.

Revelations 11:8 And their (the two witnesses) dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city,
which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified (Jerusalem).
Revelations 11:9  And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead
bodies three days and an half, (again, the sign of Jonas and Christ) and shall not suffer their
dead bodies to be put in graves.
Revelations 11:11  And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them,
and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.
Like Christ, they are resurrected.
Revelations 11:12  And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither.
And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.
That event is also described by Paul in 1Thessalonians 4:16  For the Lord himself shall descend
from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the
dead in Christ shall rise first:
1Thessalonians 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in
the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord (given immortality).

John 13:36  Simon Peter said unto him, Lord, whither goest thou? Jesus answered him, Whither I
go, thou canst not follow me now; but thou shalt follow me afterwards.
John 21:19  This spake he, signifying by what death he should glorify God. And when he had
spoken this, he saith unto him, Follow me.
The overall theme of the Bible is to Follow God.  Again, Christ set the example that we are to
follow, He was resurrected and given immortality AT THE PASSOVER, therefore, if we follow
Him, then obviously, we too will be given immortality AT THE PASSOVER.

Since that gift is given to His people at His return at the end of this age, His return will be AT THE
PASSOVER.

The Holy Prophets were Gods prophets, the disciples/Apostles were Gods Apostles, and in
Revelations 11:3, we find that Christ describes the two witnesses as "my two witnesses".
The witnesses do their witnessing for  3.5 years, the entire time of the Great Tribulation, at the end
of which, they are killed, lay in the street for 3 days and like the other followers of Christ, they are
resurrected and given immortality.  When did that happen to Christ?  The Passover!  If they follow
Christs example, when will it happen to them?  At Passover!

We have firmly identified the Holy Days at which Christ will return but since the Passover is
celebrated yearly, we must determine the year.

In order for there to have been 3 days and nights between His death and resurrection, Christ had to
have been sacrificed on a Wednesday. Therefore, keeping with the principal of following Christ, we
must not only find a year with a Wednesday Passover, but also confirm the prophecies relating to
that time.
Finding a year is not a daunting task in that such an occurrence is not rare.  In fact, the coming
years of 2023 and 2026 both have a Wednesday Passover.

But, remember how I admonished you to learn about Gods Holy Days? Those days represent events
in the overall plan God has for mankind and are to be recognized and celebrated yearly.  They not
only help us to keep His plan in mind, but also depict the events to occur on those days.

God always gives us an example of what to expect, hence, the first culmination of the meaning of
those days takes place at Christs return.  Remember, His return marks the end of this age, NOT the
end of mankind.

That being said, we must also include in our calculations, the first fulfillment of those Holy Days.
We find reference to those in other prophecies relating to Christs return.

Keeping with that, we will look at another key occurrence that takes place during the Days of
Unleavened Bread, that being the waving of the sheaf.

We are introduced to it in Leviticus 23:11  And he shall wave the sheaf before the LORD, to be
accepted for you: on the morrow after the (weekly) sabbath the priest shall wave it.
It has a two fold importance in that it is the day that Christ was glorified and it marks when we are
to count the 50 days to Pentecost.
It is the day when Christs followers will be given immortality like He was, in short, it is the day
He returns at the time of Armageddon.

Lets starting tying it all together and since we have made reference to the two witnesses, we'll begin
with them.

Revelations 11:3  And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand
two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.
They represent the very last of Gods Prophets who bring a final warning to the world.
So, the span the witnesses will witness is 1260 days, which equates to 3.5 years.  We know they will
be killed 3 days/nights prior to Christs return.  In order to confirm the day of Christs return and
since the Holy Days represent Gods plan for mankind. there must be a Holy Day that represents the
start of their ministry and must also end 1260 days later when they are killed in Jerusalem.  Their
death marks the end of Gods testimony in this age.

What Holy Day represents their work?  We find it at the very end of the Feast of Tabernacles, a day
called the Last Great Day.
While it represents the Great White Throne Judgment period which is the very last judgment on all
of mankind, (the day YOU are given immortality), it also represents the judgment at the end of this
age.
Of that time, Christ says in 1Peter 4:17  For the time is come that judgment must begin at the
house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of
God?

Perfectly describing the judgment ministry of the two witnesses.

Having said that, it behooves us to find the years where there are 1260 days between the Last Great
Day and the death of the witnesses at the time of Passover.

As I mentioned before, one of the years that has a Wednesday Passover, is the year 2026.
Since we know the time span between when the witnesses are killed and the Holy Day that
represents their testimony is 1260, we simply subtract that time from the Passover day in 2026,
which brings us to the Last Great Day of 2022.  To be clear, it is exactly 1260 days from the Last
Great Day in 2022 to the Passover day of 2026.

Next, we'll look at the prophecies found in the Book of Daniel as they too relate to and, define the
end time.

Just prior to this, God had told Daniel about end time events and concludes with these prophecies:
Daniel 12:1  And at that time shall (the archangel)Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth
for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there
was a nation even to that same time: (the Great Tribulation) and at that time thy people shall be
delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.
That book is known as the Book of Life.
Daniel 12:3 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; (will be given
immortality at Christs return) and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and
ever.
Daniel 12:7  And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he
held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it

shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of
the holy people, all these things shall be finished.
In scripture, a time is one year, so we have the time span explained as one year, plus two years plus
half a year, or 3.5 years. By its description of being a time of trouble like no other and its time span
of 3.5 years, we know that this prophecy refers to the Great Tribulation that ends at the return of
Christ.
The Holy Day when the names are written in the Book of Life is the Day of Atonement.  From that
we know the time span from the Day of Atonement to the day of Christs return will be 3.5 years.
The time span between the Day of Atonement in 2022 and the Passover feasible period of
2026, fulfill that prophecy perfectly.

And now for Daniel 12:11  And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the
abomination that maketh desolate set up, (war and the false prophet taking over the temple
mount) there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.

Two of the purposes for the blowing of trumpets, symbolized by the Feast of Trumpets, was to give
a warning of war and to gather the people.
It is exactly 1290 days from the Feast of Trumpets in 2022 to the day of Christs return in
2026, thus fulfilling the prophecy of Daniel 12:11 perfectly.

And now for the last of those prophecies: Daniel 12:12  Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to
the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.
To solve this time span we need to look at other verses for clarification.  The blessing being referred
to is the receiving of Gods Holy Spirit, now notice what is said about it in these verses.

Acts 2:17  And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all
flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and
your old men shall dream dreams:

Luke 24:49 And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry (wait) ye in the city
of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.
Like Daniel, the Apostles too where told to wait for the day designated for that purpose.  That day
is the day of Pentecost.

Like all of the Holy Days, Pentecost has significant meaning.  Its known in Leviticus 23:15 as the
Feast of Weeks and marks the end of the harvest.
The Book of Revelations describes what takes place during the harvest that ends on Pentecost:
Revelations 14:15  And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that
sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest
of the earth is ripe.
Revelations 14:18  And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried
with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the
clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe.

Revelations 14:19  And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the
earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.

Pentecost was the day that God gave Israel the ten commandments from Mount Sinai and is
considered the day on which the New Testament church was started.

It is fitting that since it symbolizes the harvesting of the earth, that it is the last prophecy mentioned
on that subject to Daniel and that it is exactly 1335 days from the Feast of Trumpets 2022 to the
day of Pentecost 2026.

There is one more prophecy that we will address that has puzzled theologians to the point where
there are numerous conclusions drawn, some of which have merit.  Here is the "vision" or
prophecy, that the angel  Gabriel was told by God, to explain to Daniel, although it would not be
understood until the end time.

Daniel 8:12  And an host was given him against the daily sacrifice by reason of transgression, and it
cast down the truth to the ground; and it practised, and prospered.
Daniel 8:13  Then I heard one saint speaking, and another saint said unto that certain saint which
spake, How long shall be the vision concerning the daily sacrifice, and the transgression of
desolation, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot?
This prophecy relates to the coming time when Jerusalem will once again be taken and held until
Christ returns.
Daniel 8:14  And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the
sanctuary be cleansed.
Christ cleans the sanctuary at His return.
In the next verses, Gabriel goes on to explain the vision and ends with this declaration: Daniel 8:26
And the vision of the evening and the morning which was told is true: wherefore shut thou up the
vision; for it shall be for many days.

In 168 B.C., Antiochus Epiphanes IV, desecrated the temple and in 165 B.C., the temple was
retaken and cleansed by the Maccebees.  The Jews celebrate that date yearly, it's called Hanukkah.

It should be no surprise to us by now that such an event would be mentioned in prophecy as one we
can expect to happen in this end time.  One that ends with the cleansing of the sanctuary at Christs
return.
Gods angel Gabriel said it would last 2,300 days.
It is exactly 2,300 days from Hanukkah 2019 (December 22) to the last day of the Days of
Unleavened Bread (Passover festival) of 2026.

Based on our findings thus far, it is very safe to conclude that Christ will return on the day of
the wave sheaf offering, on the fifth of April, 2026.

Now, at the beginning of this article, I mentioned that Christ will return on the Feast of Trumpets
as well.  That date will be either the twenty sixth or twenty seventh of September, 2022.  Since it is

determined by the position of the moon, only God knows which one of those days will be the Feast
of Trumpets.

This is Christ revealing what will transpire on that day:
Matthew 24:31  And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall
gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
This describes part of the process of Christ gathering His people:
Matthew 24:40  Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
Matthew 24:41  Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
Matthew 24:42  Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

This describes just who will be gathered:
Revelations 7:4  And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed
(protected) an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.
Revelations 12:6  And the woman (church) fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place
prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days,
(1260 days).
Revelations 12:14  And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into
the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from
the face of the serpent.
His church is kept safe in the wilderness for the 3.5 years of the Great Tribulation, but not only
them but also "a great multitude" from the gentile nations.
Revelations 7:9  After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all
nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb,
clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;
Revelations 14:1  And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred
forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads.
Revelations 14:2  And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of
a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps:
Revelations 14:3  And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts,
and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand,
which were redeemed from the earth.

Those taken into the wilderness will be fulfilling what God had planned for the tribes of Israel from
the start.
This is what He told Moses when they were in the wilderness after fleeing Egypt:
Exodus 19:5  Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall
be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:
Exodus 19:6  And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation.

God will be preparing a priesthood for the coming millennium.  A time when everyone will
have Gods holy spirit and Satan will be bound.

Just where that wilderness camp will be is yet to be determined, however, there is much speculation
suggesting that Petra, located in Jordan, is the likely place.
But, just as He said in Isaiah 55:8  For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my
ways, saith the LORD.
For various reasons, I reject their speculation.
Petra could not possibly accommodate a hundred and forty four thousand people, with their family
members, let alone a "great multitude" from every tribe and nation.

This verse is one of the most profound and revealing verse in scripture relating to that whole issue.
John 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself;
that where I am, there ye may be also.
Without revealing it all, I will say that it encapsulates Christs return to gather His people and where
they will be taken. While there is a tremendous amount to be said about the place in the wilderness,
I will tell you that at this time, it is, as Christ promised, being prepared.

Take heed to this advise!
Luke 21:36  Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all
these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

There is a way to be accounted worthy and as evidenced by those He promises to take into the
wilderness, that worthiness has nothing to do with present religious affiliation.
Moses committed murder, King David was an adulterer, the Apostle Paul partook of the stoning of
Stephen the first Church martyr, he also persecuted Gods church, the Apostle Peter abandoned
Christ and also worked on the Sabbath before he was called, the Apostles John and James wanted to
burn down an entire village. Seven demons were cast out of Mary Magdalene, because of her
helping the Israelite's, the harlot Rahab and her family were spared. The point is that God can work
with almost anyone providing they are repentant and willing to learn.

God has always blessed those who help His people.  With that being said, if you would like to help
this work, please consider giving a donation.  It would be much appreciated and will in turn, help
others learn how they too can become considered worthy.  Pls contact me via this link for donation
information.
