Heights Park cemetery is
a modern cemetery
located 3.5km north of
Pukekohe, on the eastern
side of Heights Road. The
cemetery was opened in
August 1991 when the
Pukekohe Cemetery was
nearing capacity.

However several of the headstones have dates earlier than this. The earliest death date recorded is
23 June 1966 – Section 4, Block A, Plot 006.
Headstones were first transcribed in 1997 by the Pukekohe (now Franklin) branch of the NZSG. The
cemetery was again transcribed and photographed and renumbered in 2015-16 by Judith Batt and
Louise Noyes.
