Step 1: Create a dashboard in ArcGIS Dashboards In this step, you will create a new dashboard in ArcGIS Dashboards that will be used to display field data collected using ArcGIS Field Maps. a If necessary, in a web browser, go to www.arcgis.com and sign in to the Esri Training Services organization. The instructions in this box are only necessary if you did not already complete the previous workflow from Exercise 4B. 1. From the ArcGIS Online organization home page, click Content. 2. Under Folders, click FIDA_Solutions_XXX. 3. Check the boxes next to items with titles beginning with Results_4A, and then click Move. 4. Select the TCFF Data <your initials> folder, and then click Save. b Near the top of the page, click the Apps button and choose Dashboards. The ArcGIS Dashboards landing page shows dashboards that you have created or that have been shared with you. Because you have not yet created a dashboard, you will not see any displayed yet. c Click Create Dashboard. d Under Create New Dashboard, for Title, type TCFF Field Maps Dashboard <your initials>. e For Tags, type Esri Training Services and Tri-County Faire, pressing Enter after each entry. f For Summary, type Dashboard for Field Maps data. g For Folder, choose your TCFF Data folder. h Click Create Dashboard. An empty dashboard is created. You will start with an empty canvas and build an interactive dashboard that will display Field Maps data as different elements. Step 2: Add a map element to the dashboard In this step, you will add a map element to the dashboard. You will use the web map that you Organizing your field activities with ArcGIS Dashboards 7-11
