On the other hand, though Papua New Guinea shipped 60,401 MT of tuna, it costed 5.2 billion in Philippine pesos. In terms of sardines importation, Japan is the largest country of origin. 2. Because of this, it is the top country of import origin on prawn feeds. On the other hand, Italy is the top seller of fishery products that are unfit for human consumption. Even so, they still had an increase in retail pricing, 13.2%, 11.7% and 7.97% respectively. In terms of wholesale price, Indian mackerel inflated the most at 9.34% while in terms of retail price, threadfin bream’s price had the highest increase at 15.53%.
