DAILY REMINDER
When things change inside you,
things change around you.
Remember. Save for later.
6 TIPS TO COPE WITH CHANGE
1. plan ahead :
sometimes, you won't be able
to, and that's okay
2. reframe your thinking :
be aware of your thoughts and
shift them
3. reflect :
give your thoughts a voice.
journal, or talk to somebody
4. maintain some normalcy :
find a routine and stick to
it; including your sleep!
5. create comfort :
incorporate enjoyable
activities; rest
6. count your blessings:
give thanks for what you
appreciate
Ms. Sharon
The world needs to focus on resource
allocation. Many people have a hundred pairs
of shoes, but some people don't even have
shoes. In a capitalist world, the gap
between the rich and the poor is growing.
The solution to the problem cannot rely
solely on the world's non-profit
organisations, but also needs to start at the
root of education. We can’t just focus on
students’ grades.
Parents and teachers need to cultivate a
heart of contentment, gratitude and
helpfulness from an early age, and they also
need to be role models themselves.
Ms. farzana
Say hello to a stranger (when it is safe) and
make new friends!
Evidently, don't hinder someone who is doing
something and God forbid you make someone feel
awkward, uncomfortable or even unsafe, but
when fitting, say hi and strike a conversation
with someone you don’t know.
Watch what happens when you befriend new
people that you respect and that motivate you
and inspire you to achieve great things. Like-
minded individuals who push you to be better and
do better will ultimately make for lifelong
friends.
The world is full of brilliant individuals and the
more that we connect and share our sympathy
and kindness, – the better the world will be!
Thank you and have a wonderful week ahead!
Mr. Aiman
In my opinion, the biggest change the world
needs is ‘opportunity’. By definition according to
google dictionary is a time or set of
circumstances that makes it possible to do
something.
Giving opportunity for the new generations to
take lead by guiding them what is it feels like to
be in experiencing the adult life. How does the
pressure of getting chase by assignment deadline,
pressure of presenting, pressure of meeting the
expectations of others and many mores.
This does not necessarily bombarding them with
all the pressure, but little by little, we are
educating, guiding, and nurturing them as they
growth, they would not struggle in the future.
By giving them the opportunity to learn, explore,
and experiences different scenario of life, they
will growth much faster and thus, leading the
world in better future.
Q&A
We asked students and teachers around the
school how they felt about the new uniform
and phone policy, These are their responses.
(All responses are kept anonymous)
WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT
THE NEW PHONE POLICY?
(STUDENTS)
" I would say that it’s sort of helping as it
is not a huge distraction. It just helps us
motivate ourselves."
" No, I would like to keep my phone and my
privacy. And I don’t really find a need for
the teachers to keep our phones."
" I don’t bring my phone so it doesn't affect
me. "
DO YOU THINK STUDENTS ARE
BENEFITTING FROM THE NO
PHONE POLICY?
(TEACHERS)
" Yes, they are now more
productive in my class. "
" Yes, they are. They’re writing more. And
they’re learning to write scientific words with
the right spelling. I can see that they’re all
focusing now. They don’t have to hide behind
their bag to see their WhatsApp messages.
HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT THE UNIFORM
POLICY OF CHANGING AFTER PE?
(STUDENTS)
That is unnecessary, why do we have to do
it? Why do we have to change to PE
clothes? Why can’t we stay in PE clothes
until after PE?
" I do have some issues about that. only because it's
time-consuming and it’ll take time out from our
lesson, and being on time is the most important thing.
Best to change outfits during lunch or break so you
don’t waste time."
" It sucks, we have to change only for that 1
hour of class. Now I need to bring a shirt. Why
don’t we just wear our casual wear? It’ll save
us a lot of money."
DO YOU HAVE ANY THOUGHTS
ON THE NEW UNIFORM POLICY?
(TEACHERS)
" It has happened before, where
students arrive late to class. They
mentioned that they have to work on
time management. "
" Currently, it doesn’t affect my class, but since
this policy is going on maybe the teachers can give
5 minutes from the previous class to the next
class to change. I heard that some classes have PE
elective and PE class on the same day.
" From PE kit to active wear
. Since students are going
to sweat again. Quickly change into something like
that and they don’t have to worry about ironing their
uniform and washing it every day."

Alternative/Indie
Viphurit Siritip, known by his nickname Phum, is a Thai
singer-songwriter based in New Zealand. His single "Lover
Boy" boosted his career, gaining him international fame. His
music demonstrates influences of various genres, especially
indie-pop and neo soul.
Softly Spoken
"It’s about two strangers meeting and having a moment together. That’s
how I would define it. It’s kind of like the things you overlook but are
really special. I just wanted to shine the light on that."
Hello, Anxiety
Dealing with anxiety regularly, he penned the song “at a time of self-doubt and stress”,
which are definitely feelings that are part of being anxious. However, this track is not an
advocacy or acceptance of such negative sensations. Instead, it is a call to consciously
kick such outlooks to the curb, with the song ultimately ending on a positive note.
Lover Boy
“Lover Boy” is a feel-good song about being surrounded by good company.
Wouldn’t say that this song is just about flirting with someone, but rather
it’s a song about courting and considering someone as a potential lover.
