Points will be awarded for each age category, 6 for 1st place down to 1 for 6th place. Points to be counted from best
5 events. A rider will have to compete in a minimum of 4 events to qualify for an overall prize. In the event of a tie on
points the next best place or places to count. If a rider changes his age group during the season because of a birthday
he may compete in the new older age category, but will not retain any points he has gained from his earlier age group.
Alternatively he may choose to remain in the earlier age group for the remainder of the series and keep any points gained.
For 2016 there will be overall classifications for Category A,B,C,D,E,F,& G+ (70 years of age and over). Contact Series Co-

A riders 8 best results count towards the overall points chart. A rider will have to compete in a minimum of 5 events to
qualify for an overall prize one of which must be a road (non circuit) event. Points for each age group awarded as follows:
1st 15, 2nd 13,3rd 11, 4th 9, 5th 8, 6th 7, 7th 6, 8th 5, 9th 4 & 10th 3. Standard LVRC Age Change rules will be adopted,
where by a rider can change to a new Age Group upon reaching a relevant birthday. Any points already accumulated will
be transferred with the rider to the new Age Group. Alternatively, a rider can opt to remain in the current Age Group until

The objective of this series is to encourage riders of 65 years and over to continue racing by providing their own peer
group peloton. The success and continuance of this series depends on the support of the riders. Points will be awarded
for each age category, 6 for 1st place down to 1 for 6th place. Points to be counted from best 5 events. A rider will have
to compete in a minimum of 4 events to qualify for an overall prize. In the situation of a tie for the overall series prizes
will be shared. Riders who change age categories through the season can stay in the same age category for the whole
season – or change category on their birthday and take existing acquired points with them to the new category. Riders

LVRC VITTORIA DERBY VELODROME THURSDAY EVENING TRACK LEAGUE
All riders must have accreditation from any indoor track within the UK. The league admin
cost is a one off charge of £20 for the year. This is not for LVRC membership which is also
required and is charged at the normal rate. All existing members must re register for 2017.
Every nights league is at a cost of £15 & will be run in the same format of 4 events per
night, some evenings maybe cancelled if there are any events the Velodrome feel should
take preference.
