PENGENALAN
Politeknik Ibrahim sultan
Ibrahim Sultan Polytechnic (formerly
known as Johor Bahru Polytechnic)
opened its doors to students in Feb 1998
at Johor Bahru Technical Secondary
School before moving to its permanent
campus in June 1998. Preliminary plan-
ning for the establishment of Ibrahim
Sultan Polytechnic began in 1991 with
efforts to identify sites that suitable around
Johor Bahru area. The 100 -acre oil palm
plantation site in Lot 1957, Mukim Plen-
tong, Johor Bahru District was finally
selected given the suitable land conditions
and its location close to the Pasir Gudang
industrial area.
On 15 September 2011, Politeknik Johor Bahru changed its name to
Politeknik Ibrahim Sultan, who was formerly known as DYMM Sultan
Polytechnic also includes a
Student Affairs Department
that helps students who
don't have family or friends
to support them in life.
This is because student
depression is not something
that can be considered
normal, as students' mental
health should be well-man-
aged so that they do not
feel dejected and hopeless.
As a result, the Student
Affairs Department is criti-
cal at every university and
polytechnic in Malaysia.
