The Hungry
Monkey

The monkey runs in the
jungle. The monkey is hungry.
He spots a banana in a tree. It
is big and yellow. He climbs up
the tree. He eats the banana.
He sees another banana. He
eats that one too. The monkey
is hungry no more.

»The moral of this story is «

The word effort is not worthless.

The Baby
Elephant

The baby elephant plays in
the lake. He plays with the
other baby elephants. The lake
is very big. His mother calls
him to eat. He gets out of the
lake. He runs over to his
mother. The baby elephant
walks between her legs.

»The moral of this story is «

A mother's love is always great.

The Dog
& the Fox

Some dog found the skin of
a Lion and furiously began to
tear it with their teeth.

A fox chanced to see them
and laughed scornfully.

"If that Lion had been alive,"
he said, "it would have been
a very different story.

He would have made you
feel how much sharper his
claws are than your teeth."

»The moral of this story is «

It is easy and also contemptible to
kick a man that is down.

Old woman
with a bottle

of grapes

An old woman accidentally
found a beautifully patterned
bottle of grapes. So she picked
up the bottle and said, “This
bottle must have been filled
with fine grapes before. So the
scent is so sweet like this.”
“Just the scent that is left on
the bottle still smells like this.
And how delicious would the
grape juice that was once in
the bottle be?”

»The moral of this story is «

The good will always remain in the
memory forever.

The Fox
& the Grapes

A hungry fox walked up to
find a delicious grapevine. so
tried to jump but can't jump No
matter how hard he tried to
jump, he was exhausted and
never succeeded. Finally the
fox said,

“This grape is sour. It doesn't
look appetizing at all. You
shouldn't jump too hard."

»The moral of this story is «

a person who fails to do anything often
find blame that something is inferior.

The Cock
& the Jewel

A Cock was busily scratching and
scraping about to find something to
eat for himself and his family, when
he happened to turn up a precious
jewel that had been lost by its
owner.

“Aha!” said the Cock. “No doubt
you are very costly and he who lost
you would give a great deal to find
you. But as for me, I would choose a
single grain of barleycorn before all
the jewels in the world.”

»The moral of this story is «

Precious things are without value to those
who cannot prize them.

Female goat
with Beard

One day, the born male goat
was displeased with Jupiter.
that he gave a beard to a
female goat because they felt
that the beard gave the female
goat their equal status.

God Juper said that “Let them
continue to enjoy that false
honor. because they have
strength and less valiant than
yours."

»The moral of this story is «

Everyone has honor and dignity within themselves.

The Fox
& he Lion

A very young Fox, who had never
before seen a Lion, happened to
meet one in the forest.

A single look was enough to
sent the Fox off at top speed for
the nearest hidding place.

The second time the Fox saw
the Lion he stopped behind a tree
to look at him a moment before
slinking away. But the third time,
the Fox went boldly up to the
Lion and, without turning a hair,
said, "Hello, there, old top."

»The moral of this story is «

Familiarity breeds contempt. Acquaintance
with evil blinds us to its danger.

The Swallow

& the Crow

The Swallow and the Crow
had an argument one day
about their plumage.
Said the Swallow:
“Just look at my bright and
downy feathers.

Your black stiff quills are
not worth having. Why don’t
you dress better? Show a
little pride!”

“Your feathers may do very
well in spring,” replied the
Crow, “but—I don’t remember
ever having seen you around
in winter, and that’s when I
enjoy myself most.”

Friends in fine weather only,
are not worth much.

The Boys
& the Frogs

Some Boys were playing one
day at the edge of a pond in
which lived a family of Frogs.
The Boys amused themselves
by throwing stones into the
pond so as to make them skip
on top of the water.

The stones were flying thick
and fast and the Boys were
enjoying themselves very much
but the poor Frogs in the pond
were trembling with fear.

At last one of the Frogs, the
oldest and bravest, put his head
out of the water, and said, “Oh,
please, dear children, stop your
cruel play! Though it may be fun
for you, it means death to us!”

»The moral of this story is «

Always stop to think whether your fun may not
be the cause of another’s unhappiness.

The Lion
& the Donkey

One day as the Lion walked
proudly down a forest aisle, and
the animals respectfully made
way for him, an Ass brayed a
scornful remark as he passed.

The Lion felt a flash of anger.
But when he turned his head and
saw who had spoken, he walk
quietly on. He would not honor
the fool with even so much as a
stroke of his claws.

»The moral of this story is «

Do not resent the remarks of a fool. Ignore them.

Goat & Wolf

A frisky young Kid had been left
by the herdsman on the thatched
roof of a sheep shelter to keep
him out of harm's way. The Kid
was browsing near the edge of
the roof, when he spied a Wolf
and began to jeer at him, making
faces and abusing him to his
heart's content.

"I hear you," said the Wolf "and I
haven't the least grudge against
you for what you say or do. When
you are up there it is the roof
that's talking, not you."

»The moral of this story is «

Do not say anything at any time that you
would not say at all times.

The Cow
Named Moo

Moo escapes from a farm.
Moo is hungry. He does not
want to eat grass. Moo is
looking for McDonald’s.

Moo loves cheeseburgers.
Moo wants a double cheese
burger and French fries.

He saw an advertisement on
a billboard. He dreams about it
every night.

»The moral of this story is «

Every thing has a dream.

The Donkey
& The

Grasshopper

A Donkey having heard some
Grasshoppers chirping, was
highly enchanted and desiring to
possess the same charms of
melody, demanded what sort of
food they lived on to give them
such beautiful voices.

They replied, “The dew.”
The Donkey resolved that he
would live only upon dew, and in
a short time died
of hunger.

Where one may live,
another may starve.

Boy chasing
grasshopper

One morning the weather was
clear. So a boy went out and
chased the grasshoppers in the
fields. When he had caught
enough, he returned home. Along
the way he met a scorpion. but
thought it was a locust, so
thought of catching it. before his
hand reached it. It immediately
raised its tail and threatened the
little boy, "Don't, boy. If you catch
me, you might lose all the locusts
you caught.”

doing something for a small profit may
damage their existing benefits.

Brother
& Sister

One family lived together with
four people, father, mother, son
and daughter. Every time parents
go out to work outside the home.
The older brother always bullies
his sister. One day, the older
brother hit the younger sister with
a stick. An old man who lives in a
house nearby saw him and said
to his brother, "If your parents are
at home You wouldn't dare do
this to your sister, right?"

»The moral of this story is «

Rude people do good things in front of them.
but does evil when behind his back.

The Fox
& The Crab

A Crab one day grew disgusted
with the sands in which he lived.
He decided to take a stroll to the
meadow not far inland. There he
would fine better fare than briny
water and sand mites. So off he
crawed to the meadow. But there
a hungry Fox spied him, and in a
twinkling, ate him up, both shell
and claw.

»The moral of this story is «

Be content with your own destiny.

Mother crab

crabs

Mother Crab teaches her
children Mother Crab takes her
children out to eat at the beach.

Seeing the children walking
around and staggering, he said
Why don't you walk straight? So
baby crab answers, then mom try
walking for a bit, so I can follow.

monologue can't teach anyone well
as an example.

The Farmer
& the Snake

A Farmer walked through his
field one cold winter morning. On
the ground lay a Snake, stiff and
frozen with the cold. The Farmer
knew how deadly the Snake could
be, and yet he picked it up and put
it in his bosom to warm it back to
life.

The Snake soon revived, and
when it had enough strength, bit
the man who had been so kind to it.
The bite was deadly and the
Farmer felt that he must die. As he
drew his last breath, he said to
those standing around

Learn from my fate not to take pity on a scoundrel.

The Farmer
& the Snail

A farmer boy walks in the forest
looking for snails. to be grilled to
eat He caught a snail. So he
kindled a fire to roast it. Shortly
after grilling, he heard the mock
flames from the shells being
roasted.

“You are really bad. Your home's
shell is actually burning. But you
can come back and have fun.”

»The moral of this story is «

Doing anything should take into account
the season as well.
