throughout this journey.
The decision of becoming a teacher is
backed up from my childhood wish. I
like it when people learn something
from me. It feels fulfilling. I think it is
one of the traditional, responsible
and respectful profession. In order to
become a teacher by profession, one
has to qualify the graduation degree
followed by a mandatory course
called Bachelor of Education (B.Ed).
Hence, I joined the B.Ed Program.

Role of Teacher
Teachers play an essential role in education, most especially in the lives of the students

Role of Learner
In traditional teacher-centric learning situations, the teacher takes up a clear, definite,
authoritative role and imparts knowledge to the learner. The learner's role
is passive and learns by listening and following the learning instructions provided by
the teacher where as in modern learner-centric learning situations, the learner takes up
the prime role and actively engages in the learning process. The learner learns by
doing things while the teacher becomes the facilitator of the learning process.
In any type of learning, the learner should be interested and motivated, attentive and
focused in a learning situation to gain a positive learning outcome.
