languagestudies.HeearnedanMBAfromtheUniversityofWashingtonin
FinanceandInternationalBusinessthenbegananodysseyoftravelandjobs
fromTokyo,NewYorktoSanFrancisco.
HemarriedJeaniein1997,andtheycreatedabeautifulfamilyofthreeboys
(Philip,Evan&Wyatt)andtheirdog(Annie).
Apracticalandaccomplishedfinancialexpert,Philworkedforseveralbanks
analyzingfinancialmarketrisks.HelaterbeganlecturingattheUniversityof
WashingtonBothellSchoolofBusiness,wherehepositivelyimpactedthe
livesofmanystudents.
Intellectuallycurious,Philenjoyedreading,keepingabreastofcurrent
events,andspendingtimewithhisfamily,snowskiing,traveling,and
vacationingatthefamilycabininWhitefish,Montana.
Hisquietnaturedidn’thidehisdryhumor.And,likehisfather,hehadan
easysmile.
