OUR PATRON
ABOUT KV THALASSERY:- K V Thalassery started functioning in Kannur district of
SRI.SANTHOSH KUMAR MALL, IAS
COMMISSIONER KVS Kerala in the year 2011 with classes I - V. The school, is situated in Dharmadam,
Thalassery, functioning in a temporary rented building. At present the Vidyalaya has
classes up to standard X. It has 18 permanent staff members, 1 contractual teacher, 1
computer instructor.

ABOUT LIBRARY :- A fully automated modern Library & Information Center catering

the information needs of the students and staff by providing books, periodicals and
audio-video materials. Open Access facility and books in the library are bar-coded for
easy circulation. The library is automated with E-Grantalaya software of NIC, Delhi. The
library with a collection of 2291 Books which includes Reference Books, Text Books and
subject Books. Library have been subscribing 12 Magazine and 3 News papers (English,
Hindi and Malayalam).

She lived in a hilly region. It was the season for the pepper to ripen. Karthyani had grown pepper .To pluck the

pepper she needed a ladder .Read this book to sees how she gets the ladder. She reared a variety of animals and

birds. They roam freely in the neighbor’s compound ..Karthyani boost of an exotic variety of chicken .Her hen

Black Minorca was missing. She found her hen in her neighbors’ house. Kathyani return triumphantly clutch-

ing the hen in her hands. It is a good book contains different interesting stories like Kunjandi, Paramer,

Kuttettan etc.. All the stories reflects the resilience and spirit of ordinary people.

This story is about a seven children who decides for a secret meeting. They made a beautiful
aeroplane and decided to fly it from a height . When they blew it, it began to fly as high as a real plane and
suddenly the plane completely disappeared. Then Peter and Jack go looking for the lost aeroplane in an old
abandoned house.They found some fire in one of the rooms, ,so they are more curious to know who lives there
and they seem this to be a secret seven. I found this story very interesting and mysterious .

Name of the Book - The Fifth Mountain
Name of the Author – Paulo Coelo
Review

This beautiful story is about Elijah, a young prophet. This story focus on his life on Zerepath. At that
time, wife of Israel’s ruler Jazebal threatens to execute all prophets who refused to worship the Pagan god Baal. Then
Elijah, as commanded by an angel of God, runs away from Israel and seeks shelter in Zerepath, where from he unex-
pectedly falls in love with a widow to whom God had sent . But this new found happiness, did not last long and it had
severe emotional impact on Elijah.

Also from there he prepares favorable conditions for the Messiah’s and then he had leave to heaven as
instructed. This task was to restore the worship of their god in Israel, as ever since the king had married Jazebal ,
whose aim was to establish her pagan god instead .

This Masterpiece of Paulo Coelo is an inspiring and must read story, dealing with various frustrations of
a man that shatters him , but he has the faith to face it.

He is Piscine Molitor Patel, known to all as Pi Patel. After a tragic ship wreck, a small, solitary lifeboat is left
at the mercy of the wild, beautiful, emerald green waters of the Pacific. The only survivors were a sixteen year old boy,
a zebra , a hyena , an orange utan and four hundred and fifty pound Royal Bengal Tiger.
Richard Parker (the Royal Bengal Tiger) abandoned Pi Patel so unceremoniously without any sort of goodbye,
without looking back even since.
Life of Pi is a bewitching tale of adventure and friendship. This novel is vivid and entrancing, loved by everyone.
