Visual Science and Arts, Kottayam, Kerala. His film Cycle
(Fiction) & Rhythm of a Village (Non-Fiction) was selected &
screened in 12th edition of International Documentary and
Short Film Festival of Kerala (IDSFFK). Cycle has received

transition period, he fails to restrain himself from criticizing

Georgy Abraham, hails from Niranam, Kerala, he began his
career life as a Digital Media Strategist for a Digital Marketing

Paul Scholten was born in 1996 in south Germany. He
started filmmaking when he was 17. His films were screened
at various festivals. Since 2017, he studies Documentary Film
at the University for Film and Television.

video tapes and installations, print graphic, animation and

2010. He started his career as an editor and later started his
journey as a writer and director. Among his first films, Raghav
and A New Door were screened in many international film
festivals like Indie Film Festival 2015 in Switzerland, Kinolit

and so on. Has done many projects as a director/writer

Synopsis:
Chasing Stars is a two-part documentary series featuring
children of Reang tribe from Kashirampara (Tripura, North East
India). The film is by The Akshaya Patra Foundation to support the
Great India Talent Foundation and Great India Talent School.
The first part of the film explores the lives of the Reang
children on the hills of Kashirampara, their education at Great
India Talent School (GITS) and their meaningful aspirations that
are heart-warming. In the second part of the film, the children
embark on a new journey. They visit exciting and educational
places in Bangalore as a part of the school’s National Integration
Project which is designed to provide children new learning
experiences.
The Reang tribe (also known as Bru) is one of the largest
communities in the country but also displaced since 1995. To
provide quality education to the rural communities in the country,
Great India Talent Foundation set up its first school in
Kashirampara in 2016 to make free education accessible to the
Reang children, children who are eager to learn and chase the
stars.
