ตัวย่อในภาษาอังกฤษ

1. Wanna

wanna ย่อมาจาก want to มคี วามหมายวา่ ‘ต้องการทีจ่ ะ…’ ซึง่ คาทีต่ ามหลงั wanna จะต้องเป็นกริยาช่อง 1
เท่านนั้ ซึง่ จะสามารถใช้ควบคู่กบั ประธาน I, You, We, They, กบั นามพหพู จน์ได้ แตก่ บั ประธานพวก He, She, It,
หรือนามเอกพจน์เพราะประธานเหลา่ น้จี ะใช้ wanna ไมไ่ ด้นะคะ
Example :

1. I don't wanna know who's taking you home.
2. I don't wanna waste my time if I can't be by your side.

2. Gonna

Gonna ย่อมาจาก going to แปลว่า กาลังจะทาสง่ิ นี้ ซึง่ คาน้เี ป็นอีกคาทหี่ ลายคนใช้บ่อยและส่วนใหญ่กย็ ังใช้
ผิดในเรือ่ งของโครงสร้างประโยค ซึง่ โครงสร้างประโยคจรงิ ๆ กืค็ ือ ประธาน + V.to be + gonna + Verb1

ที่เหน็ ใช้กนั ผิดบ่อยๆ กค็ ือ หลายคนลืมใส่ v. to be ลงไป เช่น I gonna go. (ฉันจะไป) หรือ I gonna do.
(ฉนั จะทา) ถ้าใครใช้แบบนีค้ ือผิดนะครบั รปู ที่ถูกต้องคือ I’m gonna go. หรือ I’m gonna do. และอีกอย่างที่หลาย
คนเข้าใจผดิ คอื gonna ไมไ่ ปแปลว่า go นะครบั จะมาใช้ I’m gonna school. (ฉันจะไปโรงเรียน) แบบน้กี ไ็ ม่ได้
เช่นกัน รูปที่ถูกต้องคือ I’m gonna go to school.

Example :
: I’m gonna love you like I’m gonna lose you.
: You're gonna miss me when I'm gone.

3. Gotta

เปน็ อีกคาทีใ่ ช้เป็นภาษาพูดให้เป็นธรรมชาติ ‘Gotta’ เป็นคายอ่ ของคาว่า ‘have got to / have to’
มีความหมายว่า ‘ต้อง’

Example :

: I gotta go my own away.
: It’s gotta be you, only you.

จริงๆ แล้ว gotta ยังมีอีกความหมายคอื ‘got a หรือ have a’ แปลว่า ‘มี’ ซึ่งมาจากการพูดเรว็ ๆ แล้วรวบเสยี ง
ออกมาเปน็ gotta นั่นเอง

Example :
: I gotta feeling that tonight’s gonna be a good night.

4. Lemme

คานีเ้ ปน็ อีกคาทีใ่ ช้บ่อยมากและพบบ่อยมากในเพลงหลายๆ เพลง คาว่า ‘Lemme’ น้ันเป็นรปู ที่ใช้ในการพดู ท่ี
เพีย้ นมากจากคาว่า ‘Let me’ แปลว่า ‘ให้ฉันทาอะไรสักอย่าง’

Example :
: Lemme hold your hand.
: Lemme love you.

5. Gimme

เมอื่ มี Lemme ไปแลว้ แนน่ อนว่าจะตอ้ งมี ‘Gimme’ ดว้ ย ซึง่ คาน้กี เ็ ป็นอีกคาทีใ่ ช้บ่อยมากๆ ในภาษาพดู เป็นคา
ที่ไมน่ ิยมใช้ในเชิงทางการซะเท่าไหร่ ซึง่ Gimme ย่อมากจาก Give me แปลวา่ ‘ให้...ฉัน’ ซึ่งโดยสว่ นใหญแ่ ล้วจะใช้
ในประโยคขอร้อง

Example :
: Gimme your money.
: Can you gimme a hand?

6. Outta

คานีเ้ ปน็ อีกคาทีค่ วรรู้และนาไปใช้มากๆ สังเกตในพวกหนังฝร่งั หรอื ในเพลง จะเจอคาว่า ‘outta’ บ่อยมากๆ ซึง่
คานเี้ ป็นคายอ่ ทีใ่ ช้ในการพูด มาจากคาว่า ‘out of’ แปลว่า ‘หมด’

Example :
: You gotta get outta here!
: The fire is burning outta control.

7.Ain’t
คาวา่ Ain’t นั้นจะใช้เปน็ ภาษาพดู โดยสว่ นใหญ่แล้วจะไมน่ ิยมใช้เป็นภาษาเขียน ซึ่งคาว่า Ain’t น้ัน มีแปลว่า

‘ไม’่ ซึง่ เปน็ รูปยอ่ ของคาปฏิเสธหลายๆ คาเลยครับ ได้แก่ isn’t, am not, aren’t, hasn’t, haven’t เรียกไดว้ ่า ใครที่
นึกคาปฏิเสธอะไรไมอ่ อก กใ็ ห้พดู ain’t ไปคาเดยี ว ครอบคลมุ หมดเลย

Example :
: Some people want it all but I don’t want nothing at all, if it ain’t you baby.
: You ain’t heard nothing yet!

8. Hafta / Hasta

คานอี้ าจจะไม่คอ่ ยเหน็ คนใช้บ่อยเหมือนกบั คาอื่นๆ แตก่ เ็ ปน็ อีกคาทีช่ ่วยให้การพดู ภาษอังกฤษของเราดเู ป็น

ธรรมชาตมิ ากขึ้น ซึ่งคาว่า Hafta น้ันย่อมาจาก Have to มีความหมาย ‘ต้อง’ น่ันเอง

Example :
: I hafta go home now.

9. Tryna

Tryna สว่ นใหญจ่ ะใช้แค่ในภาษาพดู หรือแค่ในเพลงเท่านนั้ ซึง่ คาว่า Tryna น้ัน มาจากคาว่า “try to”
แปลว่า ‘พยายามที่จะ...’

Example :
: I’m tryna pick the right one.
: I'm tryna keep it together, but I'm falling apart.

10. Dunno

ปิดท้ายทีค่ าวา่ ‘Dunno’ ที่เป็นคาที่แปลงมาจากการออกเสียงของคาว่า ‘Don’t know’ ทแี่ ปลว่า ‘ไมร่ ู้’ ซึ่งคาน้ี
เตือนเลยว่าอย่านาไปใช้เป็นภาษาเขียนเด็ดขาด แต่ถา้ จะใช้พิมพ์แชทขาๆ กับเพื่อนก็ได้อยู่ แตส่ ่วนใหญแ่ ล้วจะใช้
พดู ซะมากกว่า
