opportunities
are

plein

painting

About
the
Instructor
Joseph
Lombardo
is
an
accomplished
painter
and
instructor
with
an
MFA
as
well
as
other
studies
including
landscape
painting
at
the
Burren
College
of
Art
in
Ireland.
Joe
has
been
awarded
‘Best
in
Show’
multiple
times.
He
has
served
on
artist
residencies,
teaches
painting
workshops
internationally,
and
is
an
Adjunct
Instructor
at
the
Columbus
College
of
Art
and
Design.
Lombardo
is
an
energetic,
attentive,
as
well
as
a
dynamic,
playful
instructor.
He
follows
a
say,
show,
do,
repeat
teaching
model,
taking
many
"laps"
around
to
students
to
provide
gentle
and
valuable
coaching.
He
is
effective
at
organizing
and
conveying
learning,
balancing
criticism
with
encouragement
to
foster
individual
progress.
