At the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to:

2. guess the meaning of at least 4 unfamiliar words suitably.

2. Look at the flashcards, then guide pupils to spell and say the words. (Notes 1)

1. Parents and pupils refer to the attached notes and Get Smart Student Book page 95.
Ibubapa/penjaga dan murid rujuk nota yang dilampirkan dan Get Smart Student Book ms. 95.
2. Refer to NOTES 1, look at the flashcards one by one.Guide pupils to spell and say the words.
Rujuk NOTES 1, lihat gambar satu persatu. Bimbing murid untuk mengeja dan menyebut
perkataan.
3. Parents guide pupils to write names of animals. (WORKSHEET 1)
Ibubapa/penjaga membimbing murid menulis nama-nama haiwan dalam gambar.
4. Guide pupils to read and say the animals’ names in the song’s lyric.(NOTES 2)
Ibubapa/penjaga membimbing murid membaca lirik lagu dan menyebut nama-nama haiwan.
5. Parents guide pupils to complete the song’s lyric - fill in the blanks. (WORKSHEET 2). Then,
pupils could draw any picture to show their interpretation of the song’s lyric. Example: A tall
giraffe and a short hippo, or a small cat and a big lion.

Example: Lions are stronger than tigers.

Contoh: Singa lebih kuat daripada harimau.
7. Parents guide pupils to match each word to its pair and then write correctly. (WORKSHEET 3A)
Example: big – bigger.

8. Parents guide pupils to read and write the answers correctly based on the given notes.
