when we go out?” Sam asks.
“Oh, just ordinary dog things,” Mom answers.
“Like what?”

“Well, he eats,” Mom replies.



“And he plays.”



“And after that,
he might
take a nap.”



“Does Dudley
get bored?” Sam asks.

“No,” Mom says. “He keeps busy
with Buttercup from next door.”



“What else does Dudley do?”
“He probably practices his tricks,” Mom says.
