We'll cover how to react responsibly to medical emergencies, perform first aid for common childhood injuries, how to best call 911 and how to prevent and relieve choking. You'll be prepared to interview for a babysitting job, select safe activities for children of different ages and run your own babysitting business. The essentials of baseball, basketball and soccer are taught in a safe, structured environment with lots of encouragement and a big focus on fun. Our Mini-Hawk games and activities were designed to allow campers to explore balance, movement, hand/eye coordination, and skill development at their own pace. Skyhawks staff are trained to handle the specific needs of young athletes. Campers will learn and practice these techniques with drills, stations, and live games. We encourage kids of any age and skill level to sign up for this camp! Throughout the week there will be a number of competitions, such as: games, hot shot, free throws, and money basket. We will provide the positive experience that every parent would want for their children! We want kids to develop a love of playing basketball, while also having fun! Every camper will be held to a high standard involving sportsmanship.

Our goal for every camper is to make sure they have the most fun ever in a safe environment. At all of our Multi-Sport Camps, the week concludes with Tournament Day! This high energy camp is where boot camp meets Ninja warrior. During each day, kids will learn and practice specific sets of exercises that will help them tackle the Viking Ninja Warrior obstacle course at the conclusion of each day. Athletes will find themselves leaping from the ascending plyo boxes, bounding between quintuple steps, and even scaling the wall located in our ENORMOUS obstacle bounce house! All Viking campers receive a T-shirt and trophy!


Cheerleading Camp @ JFK Elementary School August 19th—August 23rd Monday-Friday 9:00am-12:00pm Ages 5-11 Fee: $150.00 Canton Youth Cheerleading Camp is a 5 day camp where children have the opportunity to learn about cheerleading through preparing and performing for their showcase at the end of the week. Coached by the Canton High School Varsity Cheer Team, campers will participate in small group and whole camp activities. Participants must be Canton residents. All skill levels are welcome! All participants will be given a t-shirt, pom poms and a bow.

Drop-In at the Playground Program! The playground program facilitates activities such as arts & crafts and sports & games. Open to Canton residents only, participants must register in advance. Participants are encouraged to be creative, outgoing and energetic! From bolivar pool trips & slushy making to giant slip and slides, we always have something to do at the playground! Space is limited. Top Secret Science: Summer Camp Programs Spectacular Hands On Science (Grades 1-5) August 19th-August 23rd 9:00am-3:00pm @ the Armando Center Fee: $310.00 Top Secret Science: Summer Camp Programs Lego Engineering Camp (Grades 1-5) July 22nd—July 26th 9:00am-12:00pm @ the Armando Center Fee: $260.00 Come join this very cool and fun elementary school summer program! Over the past 25 years, Top Secret Science (www.TopSecretScience.org) has worked hands-on with over 1,200,000 local children. Each day the kids will explore 20 weird and wacky hands-on science experiments and will make and take home all the projects. The scientists are fast paced and funny and your kids will be thoroughly entertained (they’ll even learn some interesting things too). We will explore weird motions and flying things, air and water pressure; crazy chemistry, light and sound, science magic, electricity, magnets, astronomy and more. Be prepared for lots of fun stuff. Engineering is made up of 4 major areas – chemical, electrical, mechanical, and civil and each day the kids will use innovation, investigation, and problem solving skills to build and create many new projects including towers, bridges, planes, rockets, electrical devices, chemical creations, LEGO structures, etc. There will be at least 5 experiments that will be made and taken home each day. Circuit-Lab: Summer Camp Programs App Inventors + Hands on Electronics (Grades 4-7) @ Metropolis Ice Rink 9:00am-12:00pm, 1:00pm-4:00pm (Half Days): $190.00 9:00am-4:00pm (Full Day): $345.00 July 29th—August 2nd App Inventors In this no-experience required course, we use MIT App Inventor software to make fun, creative apps for Android phones and tablets. We will also explore wireless communication by building custom bluetooth hardware controllers and readouts for our apps. Participants will learn both the programming and design aspects of creating great apps, and have the opportunity to build apps of their own with the support of Circuit Lab instructors. Hands on Electronics Tinker with electronics while learning the basics of computer programming. We begin by experimenting with the fundamentals of electronics and circuitry, and step up to projects where our class of young makers will design their own interactive and programmable devices.
