INTERPRETIVE TALK AND PRESENTATION TECHNIQUES
Visitor Interpretation Services e-book is designed specifically
for Chapter 2: Interpretive Talk & Presentation Techniques. Due
to the current pandemic Covid-19 it is the most effective and
preferable instrument for teaching and learning for both
lecturer and students. The e-book for Visitor Interpretation
Services acts as a supporting teaching material that can easily
reach at any place. The contents of the e-book consist of three
sub-topics which is (i) Introduction, (ii) Effective Interpretation
Talk and Presentation Techniques and (iii) Perform Effective
Interpretive Talk Presentation for Tourism Interpretation
Environment. In between the sub-topic, the e-book also
provides Quizzes, Word Search, Crossword Puzzle and activities
for the readers. An interpretive talk is a planned presentation to
an audience that provides opportunities for visitors to become
aware of natural or cultural resources and the values of
meanings they represent. There are two ways in delivering
interpretive talk which are by personal delivery techniques and
non-personal delivery (media). Besides, in order to have a good
interpretive talk and presentation, the e-book also provides few
principles that can be used in interpretive talk such as Relate,
Reveal, Provoke, Whole, Art and Children. Thus, the Interpretive
Talk & Presentation Technique e-book is beneficial for those
students who took the Visitor Interpretation Services course.
