Compare and Contrast

Spider-man and Ironman

In the comics and the movies, the most popular
characters are Spider-man and Ironman. Both
characters grew up in New York City and their parents
died when were young. Also, they are both scientists
and know how to build things. Some differences
between the two are their origin. Tony Stark(IronMan)
was a rich millionaire that sold nuclear products for the
U.S. but was taken, a prisoner by terrorists and was
forced to build a nuclear bomb for mass destruction to
the U.S. but instead built a powered armor suit to
escape and now protects people. On the other hand,
Peter
Parker(Spider-Man) was bitten by a radioactive spider
and now can shoot webs and climb on walls. He lives
with his aunt and uncle and goes to high school.

Timely Comics Cause and Effect

Before it was called Marvel Comics it was called Timely
Comics. The first characters created by this name is
Human Torch and Namor. The result of this name
change was in the 1940s. The consequence of this was
due to new characters were coming out and Martin
Goodman’s company was slowly going down in stocks
so he gathered a group of men(Stan Lee, Jack Kirby,
Joe Simon and more) to rewrite a name for their
company, and make some more characters. Therefore,
we now have the name Marvel comics and a few team
superheroes like Fantastic Four, The Avengers, and the
X-men. That is how Timely comics changed their name
to Marvel Comics.

Howard the Duck Problem and Solution

Howard the Duck is a duck that came to Earth from the
planet Duckworld and made his first debut in the
comics in December 1973 Adventure into Fear #19.
After his debut, The Walt Disney Company threatened
to sue Marvel because it looked too similar like Donald
Duck. In addition, it had the same design of Donald
Duck. However, Marvel didn’t care The Walt Disney
Company sued them so that they were serious about
this. Therefore they changed Howard a bit and now we
have a completely different design of Howard the Duck.
That is the Howard the Duck problem and solution.

Descriptive paragraph Yondu

Yondu is an alien from the planet Earth-691 in
the Marvel comics. He is a Centrum. He is the
last of his people because Thanos destroyed
the planet. When Thanos tried to take over the
planet his parents sent him in a spaceship and
was sent to space to a planet named
Earth-701.
He was taken by an alien couple and was
raised. When he growing up he loved to fly
spaceships and play with buttons. When he
turned 20 he left the planet and went to
Earth-616. When he got there, there was
violence everywhere and decided to make a
group called Ravagers. It has 7 members
including Yondu has the leader.
Yondu uses an arrow called the Yaka which he
controls with his whistling. He can kill enemies
without even touching them. He still protects
the citizens of other planets to stop the
violence. (Not Literally) His first appearance in
the comics was in Marvel Super-Heroes

#18(January 1969). He is a blue-skinned alien
with a red mohawk.

Time Stone Sequence Paragraph
In the comics and movies, there is a stone which
manipulates the power of time which is called the Time
Stone. There is a man named Docter Strange who can
handle the time stone. The way the time stone works is
like a sequence. For example, if you have the time
stone and an apple and want the apple to like how it
was eaten. First, you have the apple and put it on a hard
surface. Next, you activate the time stone by saying a
magical spell. After, saying the spell the stone should
glow up and turn green. After, it turns green an invisible
glow will foreshadow on your hand to allow your hand
to control the apple's future or past. To turn apple back
in time turn your left-hand left and to go in the future
turn your left-hand right. That is how you use the time
stone.
